Although most people who love the show "Family Guy" will want to see this, its rendered awful by the bad camera work. The camera is mainly on Seth and the one playing Lois. Meanwhile if someone else is talking, those 2 are just shown LISTENING, but most of the time, they don't show the other people talking. ??? Couldn't the camera people get a copy of the script? To anticipate who would be speaking, and when, instead of showing 2 people almost the whole time. Awful. Also wobbly camera work, and out of focus, part of the time. The whole thing feels cheap and nasty. My guess is they may have been trying to use it, to make it look 'LIVE', by awful camera work and awful end product? Like one was there? Some people will, no doubt, excuse it with "that's where the 'live' comes in"... Still, its awful, hearing people speak, yet the camera is on people who are not speaking. (Why not just show audience members, then? If you are going to show non speaking people! That's as ridiculous.)
A solution to this would have been to have MORE cameras, and after the show, cut to the recordings, but, yes, then they would excuse it as not being done LIVE, but they DO insert scenes from the animated episode, probably done in post production. If they can do that, they could edit, from more camera footage. So, just be warned, this offering is awful. Especially when one watches it wanting to see all the voice actors, as they perform the characters. I still gave it a 5/10 because its the only offering that one can be excited about, which shows the people doing the characters, hence the disappointment, when its so badly done. Its a good concept, they get marks for that, but maybe it'll be better next time.
