  Ted : [on pay phone outside]  Yeah, hi, I need you to deliver a message to one of your customers, a dumb-looking guy dressed like an idiot.

  Waitress : Sir, this is Friendly's, can you be more specific?

  Ted : The kid in the sailor suit.

  [waitress spots dorky dude immediately] 

  Ted : This is his Dad. I've got a message for him.

  Waitress : [soon]  I've a message for you from your Dad.

  Clive : [happily]  Oh!

  Waitress : He says he's not coming because you're a disappointment to him and he's glad he left and he likes his adopted Korean kids better.

  [Clive is all crestfallen]
