The show is great and is going to another level

This TV show has many dimensions that can be analyzed. In this episode, genre, emotion, and feeling are in conflict within oneself when deciding whether to follow orders or follow personal feelings. In addition, there is an interesting discussion in the White House regarding whether or not to kill a man who provides money to terrorists. While it may seem like a good idea, it may also destabilize the price of oil. It's a thought-provoking discussion that happens every day and shows us that it's not just about life, but also about capitalism. Anyway, Lioness seems to go in the right way to be a very exciting show.

Finally making sense!

The first few episodes were great and the show started off on a huge high note. The next few lacked a lot of depth and were quite boring. There was a lot of, what felt like pointless added on scenes and dialogue that just weren't necessary to the direction that the story is heading towards. Hence why it got a little confusing at times to follow onto what was going on. But this episode really puts everything in place. The pieces of the puzzle are fitting nicely and I can not wait to see the outcome of the finale. Great work Taylor Sheridan. This is definitely not your best but it does not come close to your worst either. If there is any for that matter.

Warning: Spoilers
Came here to say something totally OTHER than what i'm going to lead off with here... why are people having trouble with the sexual relationship between two of the characters? One reviewer says it cheapened the show...another says that Taylor Sheridan is debuting soft core to stretch it to a full season... i disagree...what happens, in my opinion, just ups the tension... there's a morality that's just been introduced that is complex. Makes a difficult mission even that much more difficult...and raises questions about how successful their operative will, or will not, be in accomplishing the mission...and it's a very dangerous one... maybe people are just uncomfortable with depictions of sex or same sex situations...it's not an issue for me that they are...but it would be good if they can separate their issues from the extra momentum that is attained by what's been introduced... so.

What i WAS going to write about is how. Kaitlyn Meade's husband, Kyle, introduces, FIRST, how the US has destabilized the Middle East... and THEN brings up how the (very wealthy) leaders there are using 'the West' as rivals to distract the poor from how wealthy their leaders are compared to most of the populace... now tell me this isn't a mirror reflection(&/or projection) of what's happening in Western countries as well? And HAS been happening for decades...aSIDE from invasion after invasion to rape many(including the Middle East, of course) countries of their resources under the guise of 'making the world safe for democracy'.

I wouldn't be writing this if it hadn't been brought up in this episode...interestingly enough, the.person who wrote the featured review addressed this as well...that surprised me... in any case...good episode/series...on to the season finale...

i was just watching the finale and it occurred to me...noone complained about the car accident(i'm already in the spoiler category, something i RAREly do...but i'm still trying to keep it to a minimum). Noone said, 'ooooh...drama to stretch out the season' or 'ratchet up the tension'...why are people in that country(america) so sensitive about sexual depictions? It seemed to fit perfectly into the scheme of things...i have to admit, i'm surprised about the reactions from some reviewers...something like 2 out of the five that commented on this episode so far... seems like a good opportunity to look at your issues.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a pretty good episode and definitely built up the anticipation to the finale. I could have done without the extent of the love scenes, but I guess they felt it was necessary to really drive home the jam that the Lioness is now in and the stakes that are at play here.

I think we know what will happen and that she will not be a sacrifice and they will find a way to get her out safely, but as long as we get some chaos, the mission shifting quite a bit and some dramatic sequences in the season/series finale next week. Paramount+ has done a good job with this series, and hopefully the streaming service starts to get more fans.

Crossing the final frontier, Taylor debuts soft core adult episodes

Warning: Spoilers
Well, since he's running out of ways to stretch this series out into a full season he writes a half episode of lesbian romance. A few kisses and these two are falling in love, amazing writing. Sex sells and Taylor is pulling out all the stops in order for this to get some attention on this lack luster drama.

Not much else happens, lots of political talking by the superiors and we are all supposed to take this so seriously with the stern look on everyone's faces.

Then there is the constant family drama which provides no real purpose for a Special Operations television show. It takes up nearly half of each show.

Then some rant about flying planes into buildings, climate change, oil and Iran and such and such. Extremely poorly disguised commentary by the writer.

My enthusiasm just nose-dived

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this series was excellent and provided a wonderful look at the overlooked women in Special Forces.

Why did woman to woman love scenes have to invade what was otherwise such a strong, well written show?

Does anyone believe that if this happened in real life that the operator wouldn't face ridiculous military consequences? It's a slap in the face to female members of the armed services. It added nothing and just seems pandering.

Sorry if others disagree. Everything has a time and place. A gripping military thriller isn't it.

I hope that this gets on track and finishes strong with a second season. The Lioness special forces angle is great.
