Better Than Expected
Every week I've said that the show has been great, but also that I've been nervous for the finale. A lot of Disney+ show finales (Star Wars and Marvel alike) have been of a... Let's say lower quality. And after the underwhelming finales of The Book Of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian Season 3, it made me very much anxious about the Ahsoka finale, especially after last week's episode left so much for the finale to do in a 45 minute runtime!
Fortunately, I was wrong. This finale was great and surpassed the honestly quite low expectations I had for it. It was fun, had some great fan service, an awesome soundtrack, and some fantastic lightsaber combat. That stuff aside, though, it's not an amazing ending. Some parts felt kind of corny, but it provided a solid ending to the series (or at least the season), and beautifully set-up whatever comes next in the 'Filoniverse' (which, for those who aren't huge Star Wars fans, is the name given to the side of the Star Wars universe that collects shows like The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett and Ahsoka).
