The music video, directed by German filmmakers Tim Trachte and Roman Libbertz, is meant to be a reflection of subjective pain. The girl's negligence of the corpse—and her willingness to take only what's hers—can be compared to the experience of ending a relationship. The man in the pool represents the pain left behind in the wake of a breakup—a deadly reminder of what's no longer there. For the doer, life goes on —the girl proceeds to play with her bear. But the man in the pool remains stagnant. Then suddenly, after the final note, he moves—debunking the myth of the broken heart. The video's humorous end is a divergence from others in the same genre.
