This whole episode revolves around the dissolution of the merger. The finances have to be taken care of and Louis comes in and begs Jessica to let him handle it. He is elated and swears to do the best he can for the firm and the legal issues involved. Unfortunately, the stupid cat comes into play again. The British guy tells Louis that he hasn't been reading Louis's letters to the cat and Louis has a meltdown. He screws the whole thing up, forcing all kinds of contortions for the company. He messes up the biggest assignment he has ever had over someone else's cat. Harvey is approached by Scotty and makes a deal with her. When things go south, he blames her, not her firm, but despite advice he refuses to call her and see what happened. There's so much ego in this show that could have been avoided with a few cool heads being involved. Harvey and Louis pull off a coup, but at the last minute a fly drops deep into the ointment, setting up the next episode. The other, less interesting, to me, part of this episode is Mike, deciding to move into his Grandma's apartment and asking Rachel to move in with him. He then has interactions with her father.
