A flurry of pleasant distractions...
A_Different_Drummer8 December 2014
.. which is very appropriate for the season. Effectively in this episode nothing happens but, like a good hockey game, everyone on the playing field keeps moving and trying to score.

Louise Lombard, in early 40's, continues her role as TV's best-looking grandmother, trying to help the Family Grimm decide if it is worth paying the rather steamy "price" to undo the spell. A lot of innuendo here and there, with Trubel playing Puck in the scene, going "Just Saying.." A passing instance of "forced insanity" (a la GASLIGHT) is handled nicely, as is a threat against Nick. Adalind plays the role of the WOMAN WHO NEVER EVER FOLLOW DIRECTIONS very well and provides yet more distraction, as does the burning effigy on the lawn which closes the episode.

Jumbled, but good clean Grimm fun.

Brazilian speaking Spanish? Really?

Just rewatching the series again and something got my attention here. Hey, why do American productions keep doing this? Did you know that the only language spoken here is Portuguese? Yes, and Portuguese and Spanish have some similarities but far from being the same language. A little research will do OK, for God's sake!!!
