- GoofsAt 8:15, Commissioner Reagan says, "I don't think we need to move to Code Red just yet, Sergeant." However, in the previous episode, Sins of the Father (#5.10), Gormley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Gormley continues to be referred to as a sergeant throughout this episode. A possible explanation is that this episode was originally intended to come before instead of after the episode aired previously.

Robber #3: [Proudly, her arms around her husband's neck] This is Captain Richard Sullivan of the Sixth Striker Brigade Combat Team, 9th Infantry Division.
Nurse: Please escort Captain Sullivan to his room.

Written by Rob Simonsen
Although he's down on the ground with his wife, Danny Reagan is a trained detective and an observer. He observes enough about this group and how it operates and characteristics of the individual members to start an investigation. The robbers bad luck.
The real bad luck is in why they pulled this job and others. It's a heartbreaking story taking Wahlberg back to his tour in Iraq.
The other story here is a more humorous one as Will Estes and Vanessa Ray find a suspicious package in a park and call in the bomb squad. It turns out to be someone's idea of a practical joke, but not so funny if police resources were needed elsewhere. This one is Tom Selleck's headache as the media get a hold of the story. It causes a split in his official police family.
The story with Donnie Wahlberg is one of the best of the series. A real heartbreaker.
