November is here, and as well as signalling that we’re mercifully entering the final stretch of 2020, Netflix have added a ton of new content to their library. Now that Halloween is behind us, the focus has moved firmly away from scaring subscribers out of their seats to giving them warm and fuzzy feelings inside, as the barrage of inevitable Christmas titles begin to roll out.
Of course, it isn’t all about the festive season, and as always, the world’s biggest and most popular streaming service has a diverse array of movies and TV shows being added today. The list includes all-time classics, cult favorites, underrated gems and much more, many of which have the undoubted potential to crack the Top 10 most-watched list in short order.

November is among the least respected months on the calendar. Falling between objectively the two best holidays, November is usually all about recovering from the spookies of Halloween while getting ready for the good vibes the holiday season. For its new releases of November 2020, Netflix has decided to just go ahead and get Christmas over with.
Netflix has already released a list of all its holiday offerings for November and December, and it’s those holiday offerings that take the most prominence this month. The biggest project of all of these is undoubtedly The Christmas Chronicles 2, which premieres on Nov. 25. In this holiday sequel, Kurt Russell reprises his role as Hot Santa Claus who must save the season once again.
On the non-holiday side of things, Netflix’s Emmy-winning series The Crown returns for season 4 on Nov. 15. And speaking of things that desperately want to win awards, Ron Howard...

We might be stuck indoors this Halloween weekend, but thankfully, the various major streaming services are on hand to keep us occupied with a monumental mountain of new content heading our way over the next few days. As it’s both the end of the month and the beginning of November, the likes of Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu and Prime Video are adding a mix of seasonal movies and TV shows today and tomorrow, and a whole load of freshly licensed titles on Sunday.
First of all, Netflix is dropping five new originals this Friday, October 30th, including a couple of horrors, like The Day of the Lord and His House. Disney Plus, meanwhile, debuts The Mandalorian‘s season 2 premiere today, along with a new episode of The Right Stuff and Nicolas Cage movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Elsewhere, on the 31st, HBO Max adds last year’s Black Christmas...

Netflix is adding a ton of great titles over the next seven days. From Monday to Sunday, the streaming giant is unleashing some new Halloween-related originals for you to dig into as we approach October 31st, while it’s an usually busy weekend for the site, too, as Sunday marks November 1st, meaning a load of newly licensed movies and shows are being added to Netflix’s library.
Unfortunately, they aren’t bringing us anything fresh on Monday or Thursday, but the rest of the week is well-stocked. As you can see below, Tuesday the 27th delivers three new originals. The highlight of that day’s haul, though, has to be Blood of Zeus, the much-anticipated anime-style series that’s adapting classic Greek myths. Jason O’Mara, Jessica Henwick and Claudia Christian star.
For more, here’s the full list of what’s hitting the service this week:

That’ll continue in December as well, of course, but for November, there’s certainly tons on offer for those looking to start the celebrations early.
There’s a lot of other great stuff on the way, too, though, be it classic films, underrated gems, brand new releases and much more, and you can check out the entire lineup, sorted by date, down below. Ready to dive in?

Though we’re now beginning to see life starting to return to at least some sense of normality, a lot of people are still spending much more time at home than usual thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, and that probably won’t change for a while yet. As such, streaming services are more popular than ever now and thankfully, all of the major players have been delivering the goods when it comes to adding new content.
Of course, Netflix are still the leaders and each and every month they bring us a healthy helping of fresh material that ensures subscribers are kept entertained at all times. Admittedly, the summer was more fruitful in terms of new releases, but there are still a lot of great titles coming down the pipeline as we head into the fall and today, the streaming giant have revealed their November lineup, which you can check out below.

For the rest of this month, the focus for both the multitude of streaming services on offer and their subscribers will be on content designed to scare you out of your seat as the buildup to Halloween continues. However, almost as soon as the clock strikes midnight on the spookiest day of the year, the focus will immediately shift to Christmas.
Each year a countless barrage of festive movies and TV shows are released, but very few of them manage to penetrate the public consciousness and elevate themselves into the pantheon of all-time greats like It’s a Wonderful Life, Home Alone, Scrooged, The Muppets Christmas Carol, White Christmas, A Christmas Story and depending on your personal opinion, Die Hard.
As the world’s leading platform, Netflix are obviously going to go heavy on the festive angle once again, but November also brings the release of several major titles from a variety of different genres,...

Please do not adjust the calendar settings on your Internet-connected device. No, you have not fallen into some kind of transcendental wormhole in which time is but a mere suggestion. That headline is correct. It is October 7 and Netflix has announced its 2020 Holiday season lineup.
For starters: shame on you, Netflix. Let the spooky season breathe. But given that this will be a most unusual holiday season due to the coronavirus pandemic, I suppose we can give the streaming giant a pass this time for wanting to get a head start on some Christmas cheer.
Just as Netflix’s Halloween offerings were dubbed “Netflix and Chills”, so too does the holiday season get its own Netflix-friendly branding. Get ready for “Netflix: Here for the Holidays.” And here is a helpful graphic with some of the major titles.
Netflix’s holiday season headliner is certainly The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two, premiering on Nov.

October is over which means spooky flicks (aside from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”) are done. So, Netflix is making room for its upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas programming. Prepare for the merry festivities by curling up with some hot cocoa and watching “Elliot the Littlest Reindeer,” or the second season of “The Great British Baking Show: Holidays.”
Netflix is adding to its slate of black productions by adding the ’90s films such as “Paid In Full” and the Nia Long and Larenz Tate love story “Love Jones.” The streamer is also including “Undercover Brother 2” starring Michael Jai White on its long list of movies.
Additionally, some highly anticipated TV projects are making their way to the streamer this month such as Kerry Washington’s “American Son” and “The Crown.” Fans are anxious to see how Netflix continues the royals story with its new cast including with Tobias Menzies,...

A number of Hollywood A-listers lend their voices to Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer, an animated underdog story about a miniature horse who longs to be part of the team that pulls Santa's sleigh.
When Blitzen announces his retirement from Santa's team, Elliot travels to the North Pole for a chance to prove himself. But in order to be chosen as Blitzen's replacement, he has to compete against the world's top reindeer in a grand sporting event.

It may be “the most wonderful time of the year,” as the song goes, but let’s face it, not all things Christmas are created equal. There are the tree ornaments you cherish, and others that can fill space in the back. There are movies that become classics, like “Miracle on 34th Street” or “Elf,” and those which seem to have been created as holiday time-fillers — harmless if charmless mediocrities parents can use to distract the kids for a couple of hours while they get some Christmas shopping done in peace.
Such is the generic ilk of “Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer,” a Canadian toon whose animation isn’t the only thing that seems to have been handled by computer. A would-be new “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” it’s energetic and polished enough to avoid feeling like a rip-off — “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny,” this is not — but there the compliments pretty much end.

If Jennifer Westcott’s animated kids’ movie “Elliot the Littlest Reindeer” was a Christmas gift, it’d be the toothbrush at the bottom of your stocking. It’s well-intentioned, and you might get some use out of it, but let’s just pray it’s not the highlight of your holiday season.
“Elliot” takes place in a world where everyone knows Santa Claus is real and the world has adjusted accordingly. “Reindeer trainer” is now a respectable occupation, more or less, and when Blitzen retires — to open his own juice bar — with only three days until Christmas, those trainers all scramble to the North Pole with their finest stock to compete in an emergency session of reindeer games.
Unfortunately for Elliot (voiced by Josh Hutcherson), a miniature horse with dreams of holiday glory, only reindeer are allowed to hoist Santa’s sleigh. So he steals away onto his trainer’s...
