What was the point of this movie? For a character-driven movie, this movie lacked any character or substance whatsoever. It's NOT TOTALLY awful since it can at least be sat through--for that I'll give it at least 3 stars--but it was mostly annoying. I constantly wondered what the heck was wrong with this clown and if women really act this stupid and silly in real life. Her boasting about all her men the first third of the movie and her whole attitude was so childish. So by the end we learn she was abandoned her whole life and her fear of abandonment made her become a player in denial. She was a professor with a doctorate who was too dense or clueless to see that SHE needed therapy even more than the guy who's obsessed with his 3 y.o. She lied throughout the movie, wasted people's time, and played games with everyone. And why did she go interrupt the attorney at his office for that dumb chat? What was the point of that conversation? Why did she even bother to "break up" with toddler guy? Just a lot of pointless scenes.

Rosalyn's character represents a large number of attractive, successful, powerful, and strong willed women who dates multiple men. Women like her seemingly have these different men eating out of their hands and competing for their attention while other good women get walked all over by men who just want to waste their time. She's a professor but yet there was only like one scene of her interacting with students. Her bff always looked lost. Lance was the only man who saw through her flirtations/charms, and pretty much called her out about having daddy issues. The acting was eh. It was funny to see Rosalyn "pick" which man she wanted to be with, then dump them, and then watching the guy's reaction. She decides to chose David, the first guy she was with smh. I think she would have been better off walking away from all 3 men, being single for awhile, and actually concentrating on opening her school. Part of me wanted to see her with Lance as well, but I guess he served his purpose.

This was by far the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. Usually I try to give low budget films the benefit of the doubt, but this was actually deplorable to watch. Poorly written script combined with awful acting. The storyline was terrible and overall the movie was a total disaster. I've never cringed so much in my life.

A low budget mess. A sad, tired story of a broken and confused woman desperate for validation, exhibiting a false confidence while treating the men around her poorly with low level, disdain and self loathing. The characters lacked dimension or substance and the scenes were disjointed and poorly writren. Just hard to watch.

The acting was awful! I was painful to watch them attempt to squeeze out tears. And it sounded like they were reading straight from the paper. The story line was unrealistic as well. It seemed very rushed and forced. The ending was very predictable as well.

Omg I couldn't even get past the first 10 minutes of it. It was horrible and cringe-y to watch. Don't waste your time. That bar scene where she's trying to hit on this guy is unrealistic and just horribly written. For me, it felt like the woman was attacking the poor man and I didn't care for her "I can get whatever man I want" attitude. Maybe it was the acting. But the guy had a "I am so turned off right now" vibe too.

Stop! Inappropriate outfit in the school scene. You call that acting? OMG! Stop! Even the extras were awful. Too many Nolens on this awful film. Awful script and directing as well. Stop! A waste of time and nickels which I presume is what was spent to make this embarrassing piece of crap. Move along. Nothing to see here. Watching kangaroos mating is much more enlightening. Just Stop!

I actually really enjoyed this movie. I saw it on Netflix and it was pretty goods. It was not too over the top and not too boring. I actually enjoyed the acting and the characters were beautiful. I do not know why this movie has not created a bigger interest.

Leave up to a black man, who is always screaming racism, to cast a bi-racial woman as the romantic lead, which is the case in every movie they produce. This is simply more trash in which four "black" men, who are obsessed over anything not black, pursues a mixed race woman. What an incredibly sick and pathetic message to send to black girls.

Another movie about a successful "black" woman who lowers her standards and ends up with the funny broke MALE. It would have been nice to see her choose the successful MAN who was already established, loved her and provided for her..but no. The professor chooses her ex (which was an ex for a reason) who just graduated from dental assistant school to her surprise (now he's making at least $12 an hour..whoopty do!). I'm so happy that we black women are waking up and that these kinds of movies are no longer our reality. We choose hypergamy not hypogamy. No more settling..we are the prize.

Good grief, I couldn't finish watching this and I even feel bad writing a review about it. But that's how bad it was. The acting was terrible, it felt so staged/forced. No, I couldn't just sit through it. The bar scene killed it, before that scene came on I kept telling myself to give it a try and how it will get better, sighs! Nope! Instead it went downhill by the time it hit the bar scene and it just kept getting worst. Definitely not my type of chick flick movie. Only managed to watch 20min of it till I gave up on it.

My wife and I stayed up late, watching this movie; and it kept us entertained.
I enjoyed the cast, their acting, and the twist on relationships, where the woman, was the Player, not a man... I'm going to recommend this movie to several others that I know will enjoy it.

To those in the dating world, you can relate to each character. (And a few are hilarious)! As a single woman, Professor Mack can be our alter ego. She has the courage to do what many don't. She does come to her epiphany, but it's so relatable, all the while. It reminds you to be true to yourself. Loved it!
