Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaIn the opening scene when the ADT salesman gives the wife the estimate, the song "Afternoon Delight", by the band Starland Vocal Band, can be heard in the background.
- GoofsFBI agents Groff and McCallany give their inmate interviewee (Monte Rissel) a 6-pack of Big Red soda. When Rissel opens a can, it has a stay-on-tab, not common until the early or mid 1980s. In the 1970s it almost certainly would have been a pull-tab (aka ring-pull) can.
- Quotes
Monte Rissell: You know what? I don't think I'm interested.
Bill Tench: Fine. You want to diddle around, we'll walk out of here. We'll go have a nice, leisurely lunch wherever the fuck we want, and then take the picturesque drive back to Quantico. What's the rest of your day look like?

Iconic ending made this the best episode yet
My goodness, whenever I get goosebumps in front of the TV, I know somebody did something right.
The ending made me feel that rarest of feelings. Love.
I am full-on rooting for Holden Ford, Bill Tench, and Dr. Wendy Carr. The otherwise deliberately unrushed pace of the series was accentuated with a stellar surprise ending that left everybody (including us, the viewers) with a big, deserved smile on their face. Beautifully executed in every possible way, from the low-key acting to the cinematography, editing and soundtrack.
Mindhunter is, unsurprisingly, masterfully playing me like a fiddle. And I am having a great time!
