Reina Roja (2024)
Enjoying the series
I've watched two episodes so far and I'm enjoying it. She appears to be a female Sherlock Holmes to some degree. Not sure because I'm still getting back ground information to see where she got this ability or if she just has it because of her very high IQ. She's assigned to work with a fat, gay detective that at first, they didn't get along very well, but as the show progressed the relationship is getting better with moments of comedy, sarcasm and concern on how the other is treated by others . Fast pace, not boring as something is constantly happening. Whether it's a new clue, new kidnapping, murder, you can't go wrong by watching this.
Dead to Me (2019)
Loved this show
I loved the show. The first 2 seasons were funny, sad and dark. But the show kept me on my feet, never knowing where things would go. The 3rd season is hilarious. Kept me laughing and again, never knowing how the characters would react or what stories they would twist. Linda and Christine were wonderful together. So amazing. I'm so glad they did the 3rd season as it tied everything together. As I heard that due to health issues Christine will no longer be acting and that this is her last part she will be playing. I'm so glad she got to finish on a high note and will miss her in movies. I'm hoping she gets better and knows she's loved.
The Covenant (2023)
A remarkable movie, but...
This was a remarkable movie, American soldier going back to save the life of his interpreter that saved his life. While he wins, finding the interpreter and family, that was hiding from the taliban and getting them out, with passports. I think the earlier scenes, showing his frustration and anger trying to call up the government to try and get help, get passports for them is mostly true. The ending showed that 300 interpreters and their families have been killed by the taliban for aiding and helping the American forces. That in itself is disgraceful that by helping our men and women stay safe while over there, we abandoned them when we left. Good movie, but how much is true ?

Enjoyed the movie
With all the movies out there at this time, this movie was unexpected. The story line is something unexpected. I'm not a snob of movies where I expect a moral story. This was just simply a enjoyable movie, with action scenes, good visual effects, characters that you could want to accomplish what they set out to do, to live to fight another day. The ending, well I like a happy ending and this didn't disappoint. My husband and I both enjoyed it and I'd have to say it deserves at least a 6 if not a 7. I'm not sure why I have to post a 600 word review. I can say it in less words, I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to everyone to watch !
