Motive (2013–2016)
10/10
Easy on gore, great entertainment
3 April 2013
Finally a crime series that mixes dry humor with great entertainment. I like the "Columbo" - like twist to the plot where the audience is introduced to the killer and the victim right at the beginning of the show, and the subsequent logistics used by the detectives to convict the perpetrator.

Another thing I enjoy about 'Motive' is that it is less graphic, compared to other crime shows. For instance, I think 'Criminal Minds' is a great series, however it is much heavier into the blood and guts scene, which can be gross, and a turn-off at times.

After watching a Motive episode, I look forward to the next one, which I cannot always say about many other similar shows offered.

Dancers (1987)
10/10
Dancers is in my top 10 all-time favorite movies watched
9 January 2011
Every time I watch "Dancers," I'm on a high for days. This movie is a delight to watch from beginning to end. You don't even mind watching the credits as they are being underscored by highlights of Baryshnikov's dancing. The props and scenery are superb, and it certainly is an extra bonus when the dancers and supporting characters are very attractive. While the dialog may be fluffy at times, it accents the ballet's story line nicely and is a perfect match to the overall mood of the movie. Dancers is easily in the all-time favorite top 10 movies I have ever watched, and I hope it will be released on DVD soon.

Amadeus (1984)
10/10
Amadeus is a "must-have" for your video collection
13 June 2008
Planning to watch Amadeus? Make it a special occasion, because it will be. While winning 8 Academy Awards should be some indication that Amadeus is not your average Friday-night flick, it really has it all: An absolutely superb cast, brilliant directing, and spectacular videography. Try to watch it on a big-screen TV if possible. The two-disc Special Edition of Amadeus (director's cut / 180 min.) was my first ever purchase of a DVD, and I bought it actually before buying a DVD player. If you're after an authentic, bone-dry biography of Mozart, this isn't going to be it, and it is not intended to be, but it will likely make it to the top of the list of your all-time most favorite movies.
