House of the Dragon: The Black Queen (2022)
Wow
Fantastic ending to a great first season. I was afraid there would be a bit of lag with this show, after how GOT ended. That's not the case at all... HOTD has been thrilling so far. It's had the right amount of political action and battle-centered action. It built up to this final episode, and I must say I was upset it when it came to an end. The second season is poised to be remarkable - especially with how it promises to kick off; the dance of the dragons. Just a major shout out to every respective creator involved here - this show is fantastic, and hopefully the seasons to follow uphold this opinion. Wonderfully done.
House of the Dragon: Second of His Name (2022)
Wow!!
Perfect combination of political drama and gory battle. The last 10 minutes were awesome! Daemon's character is being masterfully played by Matt Smith. He and Rhaenyra are both bad***. It feels so good to be back in Westeros...somehow, this show feels so right. It's giving the same aura that GOT gave, which makes watching scenes like the hunt so enjoyable: it may not be action packed, but it just feels right - it feels like game of thrones, which is something I have wanted since season 7. Considering follow up series typically don't live to the hype, this is a refreshing start so far. Not what I expected. Excited for next week!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Pinnacle of Star Wars!
How could you not love this. Star wars at its purist form. Could not be more excited to see where this thing goes...
Outer Banks: The Phantom (2020)
I really enjoyed the show, but WOW the writing
Like I said, I really enjoyed the show! The whole vibe of the beach life, and the teenage feeling is all there and awesome. That being said, so much made me just say WHAT while watching this episode. So many scapegoats...did anyone pick up that while John B and Sarah are escaping into the storm there was a map on the boat that had the police boats marked like targets on call of duty?! And when ward uses the radio to talk to them....HOW? How did he radio the boat....and why was the radio right there in the first place....much less how did the radio even pick up in a storm like that? Again, loved the show as it was very entertaining, but the writing needs to be more believable. There's so much here that is just SO unrealistic. Looking forward to season 2, and hoping that it uses a little more common sense! Haha
Westworld: The Mother of Exiles (2020)
HERE. WE. GO.
I've been waiting for all of the plots to come full circle and mesh this season, and I believe it's finally happening. All of the character's storyline are coming together and making sense, setting up for an amazing second half of this season! Couldn't be more excited to see what is in store for this show in the future!
Westworld: The Absence of Field (2020)
Top 3 episode
After viewing this episode, my excitement for westworld has been rekindled. Great storyline paired with wonderful cinematography has this episode among my favorites. I always seem to know when I'm watching one of "those" episodes (a truly good, fulfilling one) and I had that feeling tonight. Bravo!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 8: Redemption (2019)
This show is the next big thing
After finishing GOT, I've been looking forward to the next television show that can capture me as much as Game of Thrones continually did. While the scale isn't quite as big yet, this show has a chance to be huge. It already is! From Baby Yoda, to IG-11, this show has already brought some fan favorite characters to light. I cannot wait to see what happens with season 2....mark my words, this show's success will be massive.
The Witcher (2019)
Could be big
I'm excited to see what this series becomes. Remembering back when GOT started, it had its ups and downs as well; in fact, it only really took off around the third season. I'm not saying this will be anywhere near as big as GOT, but I'm saying it has a chance to satisfy those of us who wish GOT wasn't over...
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3: The Sin (2019)
The best episode of the series thus far
Each episode has been phenomenal so far; from the incredible visuals, to the storytelling. But this one really does it's job! Each episode has had a certain "no way" moment, and this one is no different. So excited to see where this show will go.
The Mandalorian (2019)
Wow!
Pleasantly surprising. Brings you back to the good old days. Can't wait to see what this series has in store!
Stranger Things: Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt (2019)
WOW. Television at its absolute best
This episode is the one! It really captures that feeling that I got while watching season one. This show has placed a bit of nostalgia in my own life... I can't help but relate things I see (a quarry, a storm, WAFFLES, etc.) in my day to day life to this show. Though this season had a few moments I questioned, this episode was perfect. The perfect finale to a very well done third season. From start to finish it will have your heart pounding as if you were in on the action yourself. And the last 20 minutes...wow. I don't usually cry at stuff like this but wow it got me. After it finished I sat on my couch crying like a baby just thinking about the show so far and how this season ends. Perfection. Absolutely beautifully done. Can't wait for season 4!
Stranger Things: Chapter Four: The Sauna Test (2019)
WOW
One of the better episodes of the series in my opinion! The last 10 minutes had me on the edge of my seat. This is the classic stranger things we know and love 😰
Stranger Things: Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard (2019)
Great TV
After finishing GOT I've been looking for the next big thing. I believe ST is the one show that has a chance to be up there with the rank she of GOT. The suspense in this episode is especially menacing. Can't wait to see what's next!
Incredibles 2 (2018)
Absolutely amazing
After 14 years, I must say this was so worth the wait. Everything I expected and more!! I'm definitely going to see it again this weekend
