Look, the character of Batman has been around for 83 years. There have been numerous books, treatises, or dissertations regarding the psyche of the essence. We know all of that, and like the shows "Gotham" or "Krypton," if the "guy" isn't there, we don't care! I know this is early days but if he isn't present, neither will we be present.

In other words, if a James Bond movie doesn't have James Bond or Jason Bourne isn't being Jason Bourne, what is the point. Stop trying to make these characters an episode of "Dawson's Creek."

To all other haters! Dropped dead. It did what it was supposed to do. Should be a Thanksgiving holiday movie. Well done. Well-directed. Great story. I will watch it again and again. You broke my heart, again, Mr. Hanks.

As good if not better than most of the other movies I grew up watching. "The Sons of Katie Elder", "Chisolm", "Once Upon a time in the Old West" or even "High Plains Drifter".

The acting was superb and the production values excellent. I would have purchased this movie if it wasn't available on Netflix.
