I have a tendency of loving or hating cartoon shows.. sometimes they feel brilliant and sometimes they fall really flat.

This one really resonated with me.. was it the writing? Was it the characters? Was it the animation? Was it the representation? Maybe all of it.

I laughed (like really funny lines), I cried.. I was mesmerized by it... really makes you wonder 'how can some people be so creative and talented?' In the end the only disappointment comes from Disney canceling the show.

I'm actually going to miss these characters.. the creators make you feel like you actually had a room in the owl house and luz, eda, king and hooty were all your dearest friends.

Incredible show! Incredible story! Really was not expecting it! Binged the whole freaking thing in one seating what the hell? How did hallmark of all managed to pull this off?

The story is really unexpected, some cliches here and there but it will take you on a roller coaster with a really original script. Some moments are super cozy and feel good and some are absolutely gut wrenching. The acting is particularly good which feels rare in these types of productions.. they feel relatable and are very easy to connect with.

Acting is impeccable and so is the writing! Watch it you won't regret it. Believe me!

Often these releases of series that are based on games/books get showered with bad reviews because they 'don't do justice to this or that'. If you read the reviews it makes not want to watch it.

Honestly, I think that's a mistake here. Really good animation and fairly good characters. I felt connected with Miriam. It could have been better I admit had they had more time. I honestly think that 6 ep of 25 minutes was the only mistake here.

Other than that, you get thrown into this amazing universe, and follow these characters in what seems like an impossible mission and in the end they make you want to watch a second season.

I didn't know the franchise, have no ideia what it is, and I loved this.

Very chill show. Nice story. Great chemistry between the main characters. Could the cgi be better? It could. Does it make it unwatchable? It doesn't.

Really hoping Netflix comes through with S2.

MY GOD! Lately you can't go wrong when you're watching something with Reese Witherspoon or produced by her! The woman is on fire! The acting on this is SUPERB! I MEAN SUPERB! And Kerry Washington? She just gives that raw and pure acting and emotion. Her body language takes you in, she is magnificent! Disregard the reviews that say she is too much or tries to much... she is acting and playing the role of someone who suffered a great deal. And she has that exact look on her face. And of course the writting is also brilliant.. the story is compelling, the pace is on point. AMAZING

This show is amazing. Where I'm from Avatar isn't very week known so I watched this recently. I am in my late 20's and I absolutely adored this show! The writting is very good! Of course it has its problems but overall it is a very VERY good animated show. It has more mature contents compared to the Avatar: The last Airbender and I really connected with the show because of this! A must watch for every person that lives animation

It is entertaining but the plot has some holes, the writting and acting could be a bit better too. But for a softer teen drama it is quite nice and I would actually like to see a season 2

I mean.. the writing on this episode is surreal. The back and forth between past, present, future, done with TREMENDOUS fluidity. Just brilliant.

Thank you so much for this Netflix. How I wish I had a show like this growing up. One I could relate myself too. One that is truly inclusive. Nothing is complicated in this story. Everything comes naturally. Thank you.

Brilliant finale. just brilliant. get's you glued to the screen, just glued. 'to the freds and mitches of this world....'

Just spot on, SPOT ON, casting. The acting is amazing, the story is amazing. The chemistry between jennifer and reese is palpable and takes the show to another level. Steve Carrel's character is brilliant, making you feel unconfortable with his obliviousness regarding his behaviour every step of the way. The show also vibrates a 'Big Little Lies' vibe, although very different, because the character development is as deep as it gets. Congrats Apple.
