The very premise of the movie would suggest it's going to be a comedy, maybe something that addresses racism in a way that everyone can still enjoy. Something akin to "blazing saddles" would have made this movie worth watching. Instead you are left with a movie with a million logic gaps, no real humor, no action and nothing close to witty dialogue. Feels more like somebody took their inspiration from a 4 year old complaining about things they don't understand and making suggestions that do not make sense. If I could give this movie a negative star rating I would, instead I'm left giving it a 1 star rating as that is the lowest rating I can give.

The Sandman

Started great but couldn't maintain

This show started off so strong, I was curious and intrigued. Then around episode 5 it practically makes the Sandman a supporting character. It starts each episode (5-11) with a story about other characters and then didn't bring Sandman into the episode until 2/3 to 3/4 of the way through. Now don't get me wrong, some of this episodes were still kinda interesting, but they just couldn't maintain the intrigue and interest that the first 4 episodes established.

My wife loves the show but I can't stand it. It's boring and lame. Apparently the 2 leading ladies are the only people with a brain in the entire show. Val is somehow an "expert" at everything and is the only person in the FBI that can think and Elena is somehow able to know every dark secret of EVERYBODY and predict exactly how they are going to respond so as to make a plan so elaborate that everything goes according to plan even without her there to control it.
So I would give this a 0 star if I could but since my wife loves it I'll take my rating to a 2 star.

Weak plot and lackluster story

The beginning was interesting but as you progress through the story it begins to make less and less sense. There were too many holes in the story that didn't make sense the motivation for the characters was weak and it seemed like they were trying too hard to make it less about Neo and more about Neo and Trinity. Sadly the efforts left a lot to be desired. The visuals and NPH were the best part of it.

There were a ton of funny moments. But the plot had a lot of holes in it and they tried too hard with Gal Gadot. I like the actress but her character in here was very unbelievable. And the scene where she fights the 2 of them was VERY stupid. I'm all for women being strong but at least make it believable.
Good action, but story is lacking

As my heading states the action is really good but the story feels like they didn't put any real effort into it. There were a LOT of holes in the plot, they try to make you feel sorry for the villain while the villain is doing terrible things and the heroes can't commit to stopping the villains, all because they claimed to be oppressed.

The story is lame and lopsided. If you've ever watched any other Godzilla movie you would notice a significant difference between how tough he is in those movies and how tough he is in this movie. In an effort to try to avoid the same outcome as the old "Godzilla vs King Kong" movie they tried to make this movie end in a draw but the story had a LOT of holes and left a lot to be desired. The characters were lacking and the entire story arc about the kids that ultimately play a key role in bringing down mecha godzilla could have been left out entirely.
Godzilla does an endless amount of fire breathing and can even blast all the way down to the center of the earth. His tail alone is apparently stronger than Kong and he's nearly indestructible.
Kong is fast but has forgotten how to fight since leaving skull island. Apparently he can't even fight without the axe he finds yet keeps dropping it and leaving it behind. All in all I wanted to love this movie, the CGI was amazing but the story SUCKED!!!!
