Zero Dark Thirty (2012)
If this is how it went down, our country is pathetic
There are over 5 soldiers with different stories about how they personally killed Bin Laden. Based on this depiction, it just shows how amateur and weak our military is. Killing innocents is not a good way to perform in a covert mission. Chances are it wasn't even Bin Laden they killed anyway. It was just another cover up for a failed attempt on a military operation. If this mission even happened the way they say it did, our government would've silenced all SEALs involved. Overall, just a terrible film showing American propaganda and the utter stupidity and incompetence of the American military.
Blood Red Sky (2021)
Brutal depiction of vampirism
Love the overall ferocity and brutality these vampires embody. Their movements are inhuman and the practical effects and prosthetics make them even more terrifying.
The only beef I had with the film is it didn't make sense why the vampires were quite weak. I get she was using a suppressant, but still Nadja finds herself overpowered by normal humans. Eightball seemed to possess a far greater degree of strength so soon after being turned.
Maybe the method in which he was turned was the reason, but it was strange. It would have been cool to see 30 Days of Night levels of strength within this vampire story.
