WORTH YOUR TIME
Adventure Time (2010)
The show may be good but...
Lets face it guys. This is not a show for kids. This can drive kids crazy. I believe any kid obsessed with this show will grow to be psycho.
The Flash (2014)
S1 (9/10) ... S2 (9.5) ... S3 (10) ... S4 (8.5) ... S5 (8) ... S6 (6.5)
I literally lived with this show ... I've watched it from the start since 2014, season after season. I REALLY loved it. Eventhough, it's been going down after S03 (which I consider the peak), til S05 it was still "The Flash" I knew. I just finished watching S06 and I am really disappointed. I think that whoever contributed in this season forgot how this show has been extremely outstanding. So many filler episodes ... so much drama ... talking .. talking .. talking. When has this show became just two people having a conversation. The dilemma wasn't that good ... even the super villain ... I've never been bored while watching this show. So when this happens in in 12/19 episodes in one season, I know that there's something wrong. It's like the only focus was on crisis which in my opinion was pretty great but could have been better. I'm not gonna lie and say that the show is over for me. i'm still gonna watch it just hoping that SEASON SIX WAS NOTHING BUT AN UNFORTUNATE MISTAKE!
Rick and Morty (2013)
What a waste.
I was really looking forward to watching this show. I felt that I would enjoy watching it and that it would join the club of the shows I talk about all the time.
To be fair, I'd like to say that I was really impressed by the idea and the sarcasm grabbed my attention. Every episode has its own type of entertaining and you never get bored.
First of all, in the first episode when Rick said: "There is no god, summer.... ", I didn't think that was one of the main themes of "Rick and Morty". So, I continued to watch the show anyway.
Secondly, there was an extremely offensive scene in S01E2. When they were on the plane, Rick shouted: "ALLAHO AKBAR! We're gonna take control of the plane. We're gonna 9/11 it....." Really what is that? What should we, muslims, feel about that? Is our blessed word "Allah Akbar", which means "God is the greatest" considered a terrorizing word?
Anyway, I decided to give the show a third chance because I really liked it and I hoped it would, at least, show that there are two sides of the situation. However, all I saw was more offense like when Jerry said in E6: "God?! God is turning people into insect monsters, Beth. Don't thank god. Thank me". I can bear anything when I'm watching a movie or a series, and I mean ANYTHING but offense to my religion. We should prevent this from happening again by letting those directors and actors know that OUR RELIGIONS ARE A LINE THAT SHOULD NEVER BE CROSSED.
