Pirates, Inc. (2018)
Another FAKE "reality" show
"An elite group of anti-narcotic trafficking professionals" - GIVE ME A BREAK!
The main character (Tony Piegaro) is nearly always either drunk or hungover, a supposed ex-cop (Darryl) who acts like a New York mobster from the movies, a pilot (Walter) who brags on one hand about flying in special operations forces while on the other states he doesn't have any military experience, and the "muscle" (Diesel) who alternates between tough guy and sh**ing his pants... Oh yeah, they're REALLY an elite force!
From the embellished suspense to the laughable "recon" to the US filming locations being passed off as foreign countries, this series is so fake that it makes operation repo and storage wars look legit!
Of course that doesn't stop all the stupid viewers and fans from believing it's real and hating people that point out the obvious.
My Princess (2011)
A decent series ruined by Medialink's DVD release
I was one of those fortunate enough to see a few episodes of this on a site called "TVNihon" shortly after it was aired on South Korean television. So when I found out it had been released on DVD, I had to buy it for my collection.
To my annoyance, the company that released the DVDs (Medialink) replaced the original opening and ending with garbage and some guy singing about his "baby girl" (the original music was pure instrumental and more fitting). Also, quite a few times the subtitling appears and disappears in a fraction of a second making it impossible to read unless you rewind and advance frame-by-frame (the titling is only on 2 frames before disappearing).
Sventoonie (2022)
Dumbest show of 2022
Watched the first episode, just to TRY and give it a chance...
BIG MISTAKE!
This stinks so bad that I've decided to completely tune OUT me-tv entirely.
The major takeaway is that this show (and all the people gushing over it and giving it a "10") further proves that our country is overrun with simple-minded idiots who are incapable of understanding intelligently written programs.
IT'S HIGH TIME TO FRY THE FISH!!!!
Live in Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times' (2019)
Pure torture!
5 minutes was all I could stomach of this travesty.
NONE of the actors/actresses seemed able to fit the roles of the original characters - it was if they were confused about how they should act, and as a result they literally murdered the premise!
Of course, that won't stop mindless fans from blindly loving it... just because it's based on a classic series (just like the crapfest that was the 2000's NBC remake of "year without a santa claus").
I've had enough of this ignorant network/studio trash - Time to delete ALL of them from my channel list and stick with alternatives like ME-TV, AntennaTV, and H&I.
Strange Magic (2015)
Why do people hate this movie?
I'll tell you - it's because it relies on an intelligent storyline instead of mindless action and special effects. In other words, if you're too stupid to understand more than single syllable words you won't get this movie.
Granted It starts off fairly boring, but if you keep watching things start getting good around 15 minutes in.... and from 46 minutes on you'll be laughing nearly non-stop.
As an aside, it never gets old watching a "bad guy" - who thinks they're prepared for EVERYTHING - wind up getting taken by surprise by the ONE thing they DIDN'T expect or plan on, lol!
The Bolt Who Screwed Christmas (2009)
A rare remake/parody that's actually good!
Featuring the voice talent of Johnathan Harris (Doctor Smith from the original Lost In Space tv series of the 1960's) in his last ever performance, he certainly goes out - not with a quiet whimper - but with a risque BANG! lol!
The only thing funnier than the main feature are the audio out-takes, where he and the other voice actors/actresses (fellow LiS castmembers Bill Muny, Angela Cartwright, and Marta Kristen, as well as veteran Tress Macneille) go off on a wacky spree the likes of which I haven't heard since the notorious "THUNDERCATS" bloopers of the 1980's! :D!
If you can find a copy, I HIGHLY recommend buying it while you can!
Left Behind (2014)
Another pathetic remake that misses the mark
To be brief, this is just another in a long line of weak hollywood remakes.
this time of a movie from 2000, based on the first book in a long series.
Unlike the book or original movie, this remake foguses ENTIRELY on a very small part of the overall story, even adding in things (such as the midair collision, the son disappearing from his sister's arms, and the emergency landing on a highway) that were never part of the story in order to draw in the "mindless action" zombies. Not even using well known actors could save this movie from stinking worse than a backed up sewer line!
In short - DON'T WASTE THE TIME OR MONEY BOTHERING WITH THIS GARBAGE.
Bigfoot Country (2017)
LOW BUDGET FLOP TRYING TO CASH IN ON A CRAZE.
This film is just another low buget attempt to cash in on a topic of interest - in this case Sasquatch/bigfoot.
The plot is boring, the characters shallow and at times annoying to the point that you wish they would just die already, and the ending makes absolutely NO SENSE!
SPOILER ALERT:
Though there is bloodshed and death, NONE of it is committed by the creatures.
IN SHORT, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: Dark Cupid (2015)
Best episode of the whole series!
If you decide you're only going to watch one episode of this series, THIS is the one to see!
The antics between the two heroes will have you falling out of your chair, laughing so hard you'll be gasping for breath. :D
