Leaving Breen no recourse but to stop the creatures himself before his own inner beast consumes him.

Daz Crawford may not always get the recognition he deserves, but his talent speaks for itself. He has been acting on screen for more than 20 years and in that time he has gotten nearly 50 acting credits. Daz is best-known to American viewers for his role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, the London based actress has also appeared in many successful British productions. Even though he had a lot of action based roles, Daz is capable of playing a wide variety of characters. Daz currently has some upcoming projects in the works that will hopefully introduce his talent to

Made for the Syfy channel Day of Reckoning can be summed up in one easy description: it’s a demonic monster-movie take on The Purge, an old-school disaster movie given a CGI-filled makeover…
Fifteen years ago, the world suffered a horrific global disaster when millions of demon-like creatures ascended from the bowels of the earth, swarming the entire planet, and feasting on mankind for one full day. Marvel’s The Inhumans is a project that’s gone through a lot of interesting incarnations. A few years back, the name popped up in a list of films in the then-upcoming Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some time ago, the film was rumored to be pulled from the Marvel slate, and soon after, it was officially pulled, though Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was careful to point out that the film could still happen at some point down the line.
In the time since the film’s removal, we’ve learned that it would actually be an ABC series — one that would be shot on IMAX and would have the first two episodes premiere in the large screen format. To further confuse things, it was also stated that the Inhumans series would have nothing to do with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., despite that show’s use of the Inhumans.

Even though Halloween is over, that doesn’t mean the horror genre is slowing down for the month of November, as fans have a bunch of great movies hitting VOD to look forward to this month. Uncork’d is getting us into the holiday spirit early with their November 1st release of Krampus Unleashed, and the very same day, the slasher-inspired thriller Last Girl Standing makes its way to VOD platforms as well.
Don’t Breathe and Abbey Grace get their digital releases on November 8th, and the latest from The Strangers director Bryan Bertino, The Monster, arrives on VOD November 11th, along with Paul Schrader’s Dog Eat Dog, featuring Nicolas Cage. November’s VOD releases conclude with the cable VOD release of The Similars on the 15th (a film I’ve been looking forward to) followed by an iTunes and Digital release on November 22nd, and M. NBC has picked up a TV series project from Executive Producer Vin Diesel. It's a procedural drama called First Responders. The series is currently being written and developed by gaming industry vet Jesse Stern, who was a writer on the Call of Duty and Titanfall video game franchises. He has also worked on the TV series NCIS. Variety offers the following story description of the new series:
First Responders is described as a dynamic, high-action procedural about young veterans struggling to reintegrate into society, while heroically saving civilian lives along the way. The elite team is the best Search and Rescue operation in the country, and is run by husband-and-wife duo, Doc and Lil Pierce, whose Southern California coastal base provides a sense of community and surrogate family for their ex-military staff. What makes distributors think that joe public will grab any Vinnie Jones movie off the supermarket shelf sight unseen? The man isn’t exactly the bastion of quality direct to market movies these days (have you seen the godawful Kill Kane?) Determinedly proving your worth in expanding the success of your employer’s objectives can be a mutually alluring and beneficial process for both sides. Not only does the organization’s leaders receive a dedicated worker who helps meet their goals, but the employee can also secure more responsibility and value in the company. The third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is finally going to embrace superpowers, as Agent Coulson and Daisy Johnson/Quake look to assemble the Secret Warriors. The team of Inhumans won’t just be battling their own kind though, as it sounds like Asgardians will once again factor into the Marvel and ABC series.
However, rather than an enemy, this member of Thor’s race – who won’t be Jaimie Alexander’s Sif (she’s busy starring in Blindspot) – sounds like he’ll be an ally in the quest to discover where exactly Simmons vanished to at the end of season two.

In the week that possibly the biggest teaser trailer of the year hits (for Star Wars: The Force Awakens), a new science-fiction film takes to the very same dunes featured in the classic Return of the Jedi – as actress and producer Tracey Birdsall’s new film Robot Fighter is currently lensing on many of the same locations as Jedi; notably the Salton Sea, Yuma, Arizona.
Robot Fighter isn’t without its Star Wars ties, thematically either. Director Neil Johnson’s space chronicle fixes on the overthrow of humanity by Artificial Intelligence and the determined rebel who goes up against the droid empire.
Starring alongside Birdsall is Star Trek III : The Search for Spock’s Stephen Manley, Daz Crawford (Blade II), Livvy Stubenrauch (Frozen), Erin Bethea (Fireproof), Tim McGrath, Ashley Park and Aaron Jacques.
Robot Fighter, the first in a potential new sci-fi series, will be released in 2016.

Thor: Hammer Of The Gods
Stars: Zachery Ty Bryan, Mac Brandt, Daz Crawford, Alexis Peters | Written by Steve Bevilacqua, Rafael Jordan | Directed by Todor Chapkanov
Vikings always seem to interest film makers, we’ve had the classic Kirk Douglas movie, we’ve even had the comic Erik the Viking, and we’ve had the 3D “spectacle” that was Beowulf. Now that we have moved into super hero territory with the most recent Thor film we’ll also get the smaller lower budget versions that don’t try to make Thor an alien but the God that he was in the original legends.
In Thor: Hammer of the Gods Thor is in fact a human character who along with a small group of other Vikings including his brothers invades an island looking for riches. All they find though is a group of people who are being terrorised by creatures that could...

So, Film Friday continues with another episode from Soul Fire Rising called "I Give You My Soul," which is so thick with religious themes that one might wonder: is the source Christian influenced? After some investigation this webseries is not Christian sourced, but simply from the twisted writing mind of Kurt Patino (Cup O' Joe). Also, the soul is heavily referenced in the series, and here is that lesson you were hoping to avoid, the soul is an ancient reference to the heart as the seat of human consciousness from Greek philosophy. However, science has refuted this belief and shown that the mind is, of course, the seat of man's consciousness, behaviours and the instigator for emotions. Have a watch as character Lilith demands the soul of others which could be given a way freely as this concept is not based in reality!

With the fall of some of the early web content studios like maniaTV, 60Frames and ABC/Disney's Stage 9, there were some web series projects that went down with their ships that we thought might never see the light of day. Trenches, a sci-fi action series from creator Shane Felux was one such project. Our last check in with Felux was in August of 2008, when Stage 9 had released its pricey comedy series Squeegees to mixed results. A few months later ABC shuttered its nascent digital studio, leaving Trenches in distribution purgatory. Now the series has found a new home, with Sony Pictures Television licensing the project from ABC to be released starting February 16, 2010 on Crackle. Set in the future on a a distant war torn planet, the story centers around two groups of opposing soldiers fighting against each other only to realize that the real enemy is something else. The 10-episode series,...
