Just when we thought things were good between Catherine Sarah Lancashire) and Clare (Siobhan Finneran), Happy Valley Season 3 Episode 3 promises to shake up their dynamic like never before.
In an exclusive first look at the next episode, we see the two sisters come to blows over Ryan's (Rhys Connah) communication with Tommy (James Norton).
The sisterly bond hasn't been as strong in recent years, and this latest bump in the road could change everything for them.
As viewers are well aware, Tommy is one of TV's most despicable characters, and his actions have shaped the lives of everyone in Happy Valley.
As a result, it's not easy to see why Catherine is so shocked by her sister's actions.

It's been a long wait, but Happy Valley's third and final season finally premieres Monday, May 22, on Acorn TV, AMC+, and BBC America.
As has been teased in the teasers and trailers, we're in for another edge-of-the-seat thriller from start to finish.
TV Fanatic scored an exclusive first look at Happy Valley Season 3 Episode 1, and it's a great indicator of what's to come.
The clip features Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton) being quizzed about another crime, and he's somehow scarier than before.
The role has been a change of pace for Norton, and he plays the darkest shades of Royce's personality to perfection.
Undoubtedly, he'll cause many problems for Sft Catherine Cawood throughout the last-ever episodes of this hit series that has been off the air since 2016.
Yes, after a seven-year hiatus, we're being treated to a compelling new mystery, filled with shocking twists and turns.

We’re bereft. Happy Valley has ended for good. No more Catherine and Clare having mugs of tea on the back step, no more Sgt Cawood dressed like RoboCop, no more Ryan, no more Tommy Lee Royce. It went out with a bang, but still we’re bereft. What could possibly fill that gap?

Where is The Gilded Age with its cornucopia of tacky bustle gowns, a good portion of which are copied from fashion plates, museum pieces, and period portraits? Where are Gentleman Jack's precise visions of Romantic dress, queer aesthetics seen through a 19th-century lens? Where are the comedic stylizations of Our Flag Means Death or Julia's purviews of a television icon of days gone by? Where's the love for Schmigadoon!'s cavalcade of hot men in tight pants or Pachinko's cultural delineations rendered in a rainbow of beautiful textiles?
Though the period category for the 2022 Emmys is the most solid of the three costume lineups (we previously discussed contemporary and fantasy fashions), many inspired period possibilities were ignored in favor of repeat contenders and curious flops...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Aew Universal once again. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary as usual so let’s get to the action!
Match #1: Ari Daivari def. Fuego Del Sol
My Thoughts: Loved this match. Fuego looked like a badass for once, taking it to Ari – who really took a beating in this match, the antithesis of how we’ve seen him recently in Aew. Eventually Ari cheated to get the win as all heels do. Surprisingly great match to open Dark.

Suranne Jones and Sophie Rundle, stars of HBO’s Gentleman Jack, are sharing their thoughts on HBO’s cancellation of Sally Wainright’s period drama after two seasons.
A co-production with BBC, Gentleman Jack starred Jones as Anne Lister and Rundle as Ann Walker. In Season 2 of the series, from Lookout Point, Anne and Ann set up home together at Shibden Hall as wife and wife, determined to combine their estates and become a power couple.
“While it is sad news Gentleman Jack will not be renewed, this show has brought so many together, enabled people to share their stories, brought joy, emotion and creativity, and gave me a real connection to you as its audience,” Jones said in an Instagram post accompanied by an entertaining blooper reel. “Anne Lister now has a statue in the Piece Hall. It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which once again comes from Aew: Universal. I’m always surprised by how much difference there is between Aew’s smaller Universal Studios audience and Impact’s small weekly audience. Aew still seem to make it sound like the crowd is into the action even when they’re quiet.
Match #1: Lee Johnson vs. Darian Bengston
My Thoughts: This was decidedly average. The only thing that stood out about this match was the fact the crowd were behind Darian Bengston more than they were Lee Johnson. Maybe Big Shotty needs a reboot to get over with the fans?

My Thoughts: The Acclaimed delivered yet another great match against twins, and current Ovw Tag Team Champions Brent & Brandon Tate – how displayed just why they are champs. Though it was enough for the fluid tag team work of Bowens and Caster.

We’ve got an extra pre-Revolution episode of Aew: Dark this week – ninty minutes of PPV teases and matches that (I suspect) will make no sense follwing the PPV… Anyone else think the same? Everytime there’s a “game-changing” Aew pay per view it seems we get an extra Dark. Now is that as a lead in for the PPV or… as I suspect… are they burning off pre-taped matches that will be effected by the outcome of said PPV? Whatever the case its more Aew in a week and I’m here for it!
Match #1: The Natural Nightmares def. Peter Avalon and Cesar Bononi
Bononi got to showcase his strength in this match, even if it ran a mere (and swift) four plus minutes. Nothing really stood out in this opener making this a very cool start to a Dark that should’ve been hot from the get-go.

That being said, Sting is here. Will Cody Rhodes get Sting’s first promo? Of course…because Cody has to be involved in everything! Hobbs followed up with two consecutive clotheslines and then a shoulder tackle. He powerslammed Cage for a near fall.

Match #1: Colt Cabana defeated Peter Avalon
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This was a nice goof-ball bout that was not too heavy on the dip-s— s—, but needed a little more of an edge to feel important. Like a Hoobastank concert, this was several minutes of “don’t play with yourself next to Bradshaw”, because he likes a man’s ass. Okay, come for the mat grappling and stay for the Aretha Franklin-brand Crispex.

Welcome to this first All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is really cool. Dark matches having their own show is pretty unique, so reviewing it is just as unique. Also, I’m a millennial so I’m smarter than everybody! Old people are hurting the world! Our generation is the first generation to care about others! All other generations are just monsters! YouTube creators are the first people to ever be famous! See? That s— is f—— annoying. Aew crowned its first champion tonight. Who held up the gold when the smoke cleared? We have the results.
With only a couple months until All Elite Wrestling starts airing on TNT, they’re gearing up for one of their bigger shows with Aew All Out. This is the one year anniversary follow-up to All In, the indie party PPV that Cody and the Young Bucks put together back in 2018. Since establishing Aew, the promotion did a huge introduction show in Double or Nothing, then two lesser shows in Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen. Now they’re building towards what will apparently be one of their four big annual PPVs.
One of the reasons why it's so big? We’ll finally have ourselves an Aew World Champion via this show.

Aew's next big pay-per-view will be August 31 in Chicago ...
The stage for All Out was set in stone Saturday night when Aew held its third show, Fight for the Fallen, which took place in Jacksonville, Fla.
The free show (here in the U.S.), which aired on B/R Live, was the perfect go-home sell job for Aew's next big $49.99 pay-per-view, All Out, which is set for next month in Chicago (on the anniversary of All In).
All Out will feature the crowning of the first Aew Champion, when Chris Jericho faces Hangman Page. The Young Bucks and the Lucha Brothers will clash in a ladder match for the Aaa Tag Team Championship. Kenny Omega faces Jon Moxley and Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears also seems set for the show. On Saturday night, Aew also teased Awesome Kong vs. Aja Kong.

Welcome to this review of All Elite Wrestling’s Fight For The Fallen Pay Per View, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Aew has got another big card before All Out, so let’s see if they can keep their momentum going.
Match #1: Sonny Kiss beat Peter Avalon
This was a bit of a mess, but not a terrible one either. Kiss was the driving force behind this match, but Avalon didn’t exactly look lousy. The match was kind of odd, but it worked for what it was.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Shoko Nakajima & Bea Priestley beat Dr. Britt Baker & Riho
This was a fun tag match that was hot and cold as far as action, but when it got hot it burned.

Welcome to this All Elite Wrestling event called Double Or Nothing. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a chance to witness history, right here on Nerdly. Unless the building explodes or something like that, then Aew will be delivering a major show that has drawn over 12,000 people to Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a big deal and changes everything in professional wrestling. Let’s stop pretending that this is just some T-Shirt company and take this for what it is. Okay, here comes Double Or Nothing. Match #1: Matanza Cueto beat Jack Evans The following is courtesy of WrestlingInc and Joseph James:
Jack avoids Matanaza, rips off a turnbuckle, and pushes Matanza into head first. He goes up and hits a cannonball 630! Jack goes for a cover but Matanza just lifts him up and gives him the Wrath of the Gods for the win.
My Take: 1.5 out of 5 – Matanza squashed a wrestler who is leaving the league. Jack got tired of Ivelisse’s politicking, as well as other things...

Match #1: Dragon Bane, Astrolux and Freelance beat Draztik Boy, Latigo and Aramis – Trios Match
This was a thrilling stunt show with one death-defying risk after another. Any one of these guys could be a big star in the future.

This was another wild match that was a thrill a second. I always worry about the risks that luchadors put themselves through with the style, but they are gonna do it despite themselves. This match had a lot of hard work in it and will really get your blood pumping.

Match #1: Jake Strong beat Drago
This was a nice little match that was an even affair for both men. Both competitors looked good here and were able to show what they can do. It was nice to see that the difference in size was ignored, as that part of booking and promoting has been out-dated for close to thirty years. If Bruce Lee can legitimately beat an opponent of any size (people didn’t go watch his movies because he could act) then why can’t professional wrestling completely embrace a short man beating a tall man? People like Vince McMahon and Billy Corgan need to let go of the size thing, because people don’t care about if Rey Mysterio is shorter than the Undertaker,...
