With the producers of 'Saw' blurb plastered onto the new official one-sheet for upcoming revenge thriller 'The Tortured' the good news is that a slew of new images from the flick have arrived with it. Starring Bill Moseley, Erika Christensen (below) and Jesse Metcalfe the Robert Lieberman directed horror deals with an upper-middle-class couple's lives destroyed when their only child is kidnapped and killed. Obsessed with revenge, the couple seizes an opportunity to kidnap the killer (poor old Moseley). Chelah Horsdal, Aaron Pearl, Fulvio Cecere, Viv Leacock, Sheila Shah, Yee Jee Tso and Samantha Gutstadt round off the cast. The Twisted Pictures production is complete but is still waiting to officially give it a release date. It's been kicking about a lot of the more recent horror festivals so perhaps we'll get to see this one before Christmas? You can check out the new images and poster below. ...

Green Guys Movie PosterGreen Guys is a crime thriller that has moved in to post-production with a new trailer available here. In the film four young men create a ponzi scheme, or a pyramid styled investment structure, which soon crumbles due to corruption and infighting (Green). In this interview given to Samantha Gutstadt, from the online magazine RealTVfilms, Canadian director Kris Booth talks about the way his independent film At Home by Myself... with You got funded.
The story is centred on a beautiful woman (Kristin Booth) who has many phobias. The biggest of them all is to leave her apartment. During one day, this woman meets the nephew (Aaron Abrams) of one of her neighbours (Rosemary Dunsmore). Besides, both of the young people fall for each other. Will that guy manage to get this girl outside of her apartment?
The film also stars Shauna MacDonald, Ryan Blakely, Raoul Bhaneja, Jefferson Brown, Brandon Firla, Andrea McCulloch and Gordon Pinsent.
Finally, At Home by Myself... with You is already available on DVD in Canada.
