With the recent plot twists showing Eric in a frail state, murmurs about McCook’s departure from the daytime drama are becoming louder. What’s next for Eric Forrester?
Since his debut in 1987, McCook has portrayed Eric, the magnetic fashion mogul of Forrester Creations. Lately, fans have been piecing together a narrative: Eric’s weakening health could be signaling the end of his reign. Treat Williams, a long-time character actor and star of the well-loved cult movies Deep Rising and Dead Heat, has died at 71. According to a report via People Magazine, the actor died in a tragic motorcycle accident. His agent, Barry McPherson, told the magazine, “He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right and a car cut him off,” McPherson said, adding, “I’m just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.”
Williams had a long, legendary career on the silver screen. He first broke out in the late seventies in movies like The Eagle Has Landed before earning a Golden Globe nomination for the film adaptation of Hair. He had perhaps his best role in 1981, playing the lead in Sidney Lumet’s Prince of the City (a favorite of ours here at JoBlo), earning a Golden Globe nomination. In the film, he played...

“Beverly Hills, 90210” star Tori Spelling is opening up about her 14-year-old daughter’s health battle after being hospitalized twice. Spelling sat down for an interview on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live”, where she explained Stella’s diagnosis and how her family is coping with it.
“She went to the ER twice and was diagnosed with a hemiplegic migraine,” Spelling explained, admitting she was not familiar with the condition before her daughter experienced it. “One side of you goes numb, it almost kind of mimics what a stroke would be.”
Spelling detailed Stella’s symptoms, saying, “Her left arm went completely numb, she couldn’t lift it. Then half of her throat, then her mouth — so it looked like she had had a stroke.”

The bloodbath at ABC continues!
Comedies Speechless and Splitting Up Together are the latest cancellations at the Alphabet network, it has been announced.
Speechless lasted three seasons before the plug was pulled. Moving to a new night this season, it tumbled almost 60 percent in the demo.
In live + same day metrics, it is averaged 2.3 million viewers and a 0.5 rating. It did get a minor bump with delayed viewing factored in.
Related: The Cool Kids Canceled at Fox
It was ABC's least-watched scripted series, so the cancellation is not completely surprising. ABC did own the show, so many thought it stood a decent shot at being renewed.
However, it seems the network is going in a different direction.
Speechless starred Minnie Driver, John Ross Bowie, Cedric Yarbrough, Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, and Kyla Kenedy.
As for Splitting Up Together, the rom-com was not owned by ABC and was pulling in anemic ratings all season long.

ABC has given back orders to Tuesday comedy series The Kids Are Alright and Splitting Up Together. With that, the network has picked up additional episodes of all of its fall series that did not have full-season orders.
ABC would not specify the size of the pickups for freshman Kids Are Alright and sophomore Splitting Up Together beyond calling them full-season orders. Here’s some alright news: ABC’s Tuesday comedy block isn’t splitting up anytime soon. The Alphabet Network has given full-season orders to freshman sitcom The Kids Are Alright, as well as sophomore series Splitting Up Together, TVLine has learned. We hear that nine additional episodes of Kids have been ordered, along with five more episodes of Splitting.
Inspired by executive producer Tim Doyle’s childhood, The Kids Are Alright follows a large Irish Catholic family navigating the trials and tribulations of life in 1970s Los Angeles. The show stars Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead) and Mary McCormack (In Plain Sight...

Heroes alumna Ali Larter is set for key recurring role opposite Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson on the second season of ABC comedy series Splitting Up Together, from Warner Bros. TV.
Splitting Up Together stars Fischer and Hudson as Lena and Martin, the couple whose marriage is reinvigorated by their divorce. They still live in the same house, alternating weeks, with one living upstairs and doing the parenting while the other lives downstairs in the guest apartment.
Larter will play no-nonsense Paige, who Martin finds attractive and Lena finds intimidating. Using her own “normal” divorce as a reference, Paige is unafraid to speak her mind, and she makes her feelings known about Lena and Martin’s unconventional arrangement.
Diane Farr, Lindsay Price, Bobby Lee, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby and Sander Thomas co-star in the comedy from A Very Good Production and Piece of Pie Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

How well does Lena and Martin's arrangement work during the first season of the Splitting Up Together TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether the TV show Splitting Up Together is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we'd like to offer you the chance to rate all of the Splitting Up Together season one episodes below. The alphabet network doesn't want to break up with Splitting Up Together. ABC has renewed the newbie sitcom for season two. It is the only freshman comedy on the network this season to survive to see a second season.Splitting Up Together stars Jenna Fischer, Oliver Hudson, Bobby Lee, Diane Farr, Lindsay Price, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby, Sander Thomas, and Kelsey Asbille. The family sitcom centers on a married couple, Lena (Fischer) and Martin (Hudson), who have lost that lovin’ feeling. Having arrived at the conclusion that everyone would be happier if they divorced, Lena and Martin decide to split, but to minimize the impact on their three kids, they’re “bird nesting.” The parent who is on-duty in a given week lives in the house, with the children, while the other decamps to the garage. Once they’re apart, they begin to see their own failures and the other’s contributions.

ABC has ordered a second season of its new midseason comedy Splitting Up Together starring Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson, from Warner Bros. TV. It is the only freshman ABC comedy to make it to Season 2, with The Mayor and Alex Inc. not expected to return. I hear the order is for 13 episodes.
Single-camera Splitting Up Together premiered March 27 to solid numbers — 2.1 Live+same day in 18-49 — and 7.2 million viewers — thanks in no small part to being the lead-out of the hugely rated debut of the revived Roseanne. Since then Splitting Up Together has settled in with about half those numbers. With help from the goosed up premiere, Splitting Up Together season-to-date average is a 2.1 18-49 in L+7/most recent ratings.

Splitting Up Together‘s Lena and Martin are harried, suburban parents of three. The pair is no longer in love and planning to divorce. But because they owe more on their mortgage than their home is worth, and because divvying up parental duties is hard enough without adding new locations into the mix, Martin and Lena have decided to continue living together — though pursuing separate lives — while co-parenting their children.

Continuing the celebration of Beverly Hills, 90210‘s thirtieth anniversary this month, here are the final 13 iconic moments, covering the show’s later years, in which its most notable events involve the departures of major characters as the show transforms into a more traditional primetime soap opera.
