Chicago – The cache of “Paris Can Wait” is what immediately makes it attractive. It’s Diane Lane road tripping through France on the way to Paris, guided by the script and direction of Eleanor Coppola, in her narrative film debut (at age 80!). Along the way there is food, seduction, incredible sights and Alec Baldwin. That formula was destined to work.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
Lane is the wife of a famous filmmaker in the story, which sounds strangely familiar. This is autobiographical, a trip like this actually happened to Coppola, not in the same fashion, but with the same atmosphere. By creating a scenario of seduction and high level food, the question of will-she-won’t-see becomes apparent beyond the cliché level. Diane Lane is simply wonderful in the role, knowing just how to balance it. Lane is one of those performers that observers tend to take for granted, because even with less than stellar material,...

Did that just happen?!
We need to take a moment to breathe and process the development.
They actually did it...
On Salem Season 3 Episode 7, the dark lord was quite literally ripped apart at the seams in one of the best moments of the series. Their biggest enemy is perhaps dead. It was amazing!
Kudos to the special effects team and writers on Salem; this was a surprising curve ball in the final four episodes. I did not expect this twist yet. Did you?
Everything featured had the makings of a great climax. The location of the woods paired with the dark and dreary vibe added to the tension. And once the vines started grabbing him and ripping him apart, it worked perfectly. The prosthetics almost looked realistic.
Dark Lord: You think a few rotten vines can hold me?
Essex Elder: Once, you were the source of Mary's power. Not anymore!

Anne of Romania was not your typical queen. The royal, who died Monday, didn't speak her country's language. And it took 44 years into her "reign" for her to make it inside Romanian borders. Born Princess Anne Antoinette Françoise Charlotte Bourbon-Parma in 1923, she had family ties to nearly every royal family in Europe, including the British, the Russian, the French and the Danish. She was the daughter of Prince René of Bourbon-Parma and Princess Margarethe of Denmark, and spent her childhood hopping between Italy, Denmark and France until Germany invaded the latter during World War II, after which, she and her family relocated to New York.

Who knew that Anne Hathaway was such a Miley Cyrus fan?! The "Interstellar" star takes the singer's hit song "Wrecking Ball" to new heights in an upcoming episode of Spike TV's new Tonight Show spin-off, "Lip Sync Battle." The actress goes head-to-head with her former "Devil Wears Prada" costar Emily Blunt -- and from the looks of it Anne might already by the winner! The battle between these two celebs could get very interesting, as both actresses are experienced in musical theater. Anne starred in "Les Miserables" while Emily was recently in "Into The Woods". In a sneak peek clip, Hathaway recreates Miley's much-buzzed about music video, complete with a risque wardrobe and short hairstyle. Clad in a white crop top, matching underwear and Doc Martens, Anne takes the stage as she mouths the lyrics to the 21-year-old's hit. And, of course, the performance wouldn't be complete without a real-life wrecking ball!

Who doesn’t love Pokémon? An easy to pick up, impossible to put down game with bright, colourful characters and simple gameplay that hides a complex fighting system.
Of course, there’s always people out there looking to complicate things. Ev trainers, who use hidden stats to breed and grow the strongest Pokémon they can, are often ridiculed for the amount of time they put into something that initially makes little difference, but there’s another type of fan who obsess to an even greater level.
If there’s anything more expansive than the game world itself its the theories people come up with for it. Beginning small with rumours hard to substantiate in the early-internet age (Mew is behind that truck, the S.S. Anne will return) it’s created a massive backstory to the accepted continuity.
The biggest theory is one that turns the whole thing into...

★★★★☆ This Park Circus rerelease of Otto Preminger's 1958 classic Bonjour Tristesse, based on the Françoise Saigon novella and starring Deborah Kerr, David Niven and Jean Seberg, feels particularly timely. The frivolity of rich Europeans who party all night, drink champagne for breakfast and swap partners with the changing seasons is laid bare, their pampered existence exposed as ultimately hollow. Seventeen-year-old Cécile (Seberg) is holidaying with her attractive widowed father Raymond (Niven) and his lover Elsa (Mylène Demongeot) on the French Riveria. They sunbathe and swim by day and visit various bars, clubs and casinos by night.
Cécile and Raymond clearly adore one another and revel in their shared amorality. When Anne, a friend of Cécile's late mother, arrives she throws our heroine and her father's world into disarray. Anne immediately sets herself apart from Raymond's other girlfriends. She is older than him, cultured, principled and runs her own business. She...

The only solace he finds is on the commuter train home each evening when he imagines the train makes a stop at Willoughby, a turn of the century small town where everyone is friendly and time has stood still. The payoff to the story is both disturbing, yet heartwarming. Serling's daughter Anne will be on hand for a parade and screenings of the episode will be shown throughout the day. Anne Serling will also be autographing copies of her acclaimed book, "As I Knew Him: My Dad, Rod Serling."

Enjoying the sights and sounds of the city while in town for business, the 30-year-old actress arrived in town on Wednesday morning accompanied by her husband, Adam Shulman.

Anne Hathaway looked beautiful when she wore a black gown to tonight's SAG Awards in La and posed on the red carpet with costar Hugh Jackman. She will be working double-duty at the award show as a presenter and a SAG Award nominee. Anne is up for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role and the award for an ensemble cast in a motion picture in Les Misérables. If this year's previous award shows are anything to go off of, Anne will most likely nab the award for a supporting performance - she has already picked up the same award at the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards. The actress was first nominated for a SAG Award back in 2006 as a cast member of Brokeback Mountain. Check out all of our red carpet fashion polls and weigh in on your favorites. View Slideshow ›...

What do you do after a musical? Shakespeare!
"Les Miserables" star (and Golden Globe winner, in case you hadn't heard) Anne Hathaway will continue exploring her theatrical roots as she's signed on for a new screen adaptation of William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew," according to The Wrap.
"Shrew" follows the tumultuous (and sometimes, shall we say, quite "physical") courtship between Petruchio, a suave and brash ladies' man looking to marry into money, and Katherine, aka Kate, a vicious, ill-tempered ... well, shrew. It's considered one of Shakespeare's funniest comedies ... and it's undoubtedly his raunchiest, thanks to some delicious innuendo-filled verbal wars between the two leads.
The play has been adapted to musical theatre as "Kiss Me Kate," but it doesn't look like Anne will be doing the actor-singer thing again as this "Shrew" appears to be a straight adaptation of the play, albeit one updated for mid-20th century Italy.

Guys, we think we might be too in love with Anne Hathaway‘s hair. Have you seen it? Does it make you want to shrink Anne Hathaway down to the size of a hot dog and make her live in a doll house, (which would be creepy enough on it’s own because what adult has a doll house, but then also the doll happens to be Anne Hathaway)? Just us then? That’s what we suspected.
Well, even if you haven’t reached Twilight Zone-levels of obsessiveness with girl’s coiffe yet, obviously you’ll be casting your vote for Hathaway over Jason Sudeikis for “Sexiest Hair Award” in her SNL promos. Over everyone, actually. Sorry if this stings at all, President Obama. It’s just…well, you aren’t technically in the running for this award. And you really don’t do much with your hair. Mix it up!

Anne Hathaway is using Natalie Portman's wedding planner. The 'Dark Knight Rises' actress is rumoured to be marrying partner Adam Shulman at Big Sur, California, this weekend, and has asked Yifat Oren to plan the nuptials - the same person who helped Natalie Portman plan her wedding to Benjamin Millipied. Speaking recently, Valentino Garavani confirmed he had designed the gown that would be worn by the 'Les Miserables' beauty.

Did you miss the first season of Once Upon A Time but see the sexy promo and want to know more? Or perhaps you weren't sure if you'd like the show but are now curious about this Swan Queen ship that made it to the Final Four of the Ultimate Femslash Madness Tournament? Are you already a fan who is excited for Season 2 but need a refresher on Season 1? Whether you read the first book or are skipping right to the sequel, here's a little prologue to let you know what this show is all about.
To make a long, intricate story short, here's what happened:
Once upon a time (duh), there was a magical world where a gorgeous Queen reigned with evil in her heart. Throughout the land there were dwarves and fairies and talking grasshoppers and sexy werewolves and, well, magic.

Falling Skies: "A More Perfect Union" Finale Review
It can't be said Falling Skies wasn't going for the gold with their second season finale. A lot of surprises were launched in our direction, some of which I found quite unforgivable.
You have to hand it to Tom Mason. He's not only incredibly loyal, but incredibly fertile. He didn't stand by and let his mentor Arthur Manchester wither in the brig any more than he would allow the skitters to fight their battle against the Overlord on their own. Of course, having his son speaking on behalf of Red Eye does give him a distinct advantage in wanting to help them, but the entire 2nd Mass was itching for the fight.
As for Mason's fertility, barring unforeseen circumstances, and they surely could arise, Anne will be giving birth to another Mason is about 7-8 months. What surprised me the most...

There was a time not so long ago when word surfaced that Michael Haneke’s newest film would be titled ‘Love.’ To say that this news was a shocker would be to exaggerate, but it somehow left the sensation that something had not quite gone down, like eating an overly dry egg sandwich. Either something wasn’t quite as it seemed, or it was exactly as it seemed. So, had the austere master’s view of humanity finally mellowed? Were we to surmise that Mr Severe had grown at the turn of the decade suddenly sentimental, or was the title an ironic counterpoint to a probing exploration of something that was anything but the title, à la Funny Games? On learning that this project would tackle – of all things – ageing, the intrigue only grew, if only for the fact that people...

While it might appear that director Jonathan Demme has retreated from the mainstream in recent years, directing a string of documentaries including “Jimmy Carter Man From Plains” and a trio of Neil Young concert films, the director says he’s just been following the projects he finds himself drawn to. “It all depends on what I’m enthusiastic about at the moment, what presents itself,” Demme told The Playlist in an exclusive interview this week. “I love doing fiction. I love doing performance films and I love doing documentaries that don’t have music. I love to shoot and I love to shoot things I’m enthusiastic about.”
And lately, Demme has been enthusiastic about Neil Young. Their latest collaboration is entitled “Neil Young Journeys,” in which Demme tags along on a road trip with Young in his 1956 Crown Victoria en route to a performance at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall.

Anne Hathaway shows off her dimples on the cover of Allure magazine's July issue, which hits newsstands today. She sported longer locks for the shoot, but actually buzzed off her hair last month for her role as Fantine in Les Misérables. Anne will also pop up on the big screen next month as Catwoman in the third and final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. In the issue, Anne opened up about both roles and the changes she underwent for them. She spoke about shedding weight to play Fantine, what it took to wear the Catwoman suit, and being Ok with nudity. Here's more from Anne Hathaway in Allure: On her Catwoman suit: "The Catwoman suit. It was a psychological terrorist. . . . The suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit . . . It dominated my year. I went into the...

Anne Hathaway's fiancé, Adam Shulman, was right behind her as they arrived at Lax yesterday. The couple hopped on a flight to NYC after visiting with friends on the West Coast. Anne's on a break from filming Les Misérables in London, where she hit the set with costar Hugh Jackman in April. She took advantage of the downtime to escape to Miami earlier this month. Anne wore a black bikini for a dip in the ocean with her mom Kathleen during the getaway, which came just before Mother's Day. Anne may still be sporting cropped hair for her character in Les Mis, but she'll soon be switching gears to another project. The ballots are open in the season finale and it’s up to Pawnee to decide who their new councilman is; the patriotic Leslie Knope or endearingly dumb Bobby Newport (guest star Paul Rudd). Meanwhile Ben gets a new job offer, Mouse Rat perform and Ron dispenses wisdom and advice all over the place in a very satisfying and fitting end to a consistently well written fourth season.
Show-runner Michael Schur (who I still only see as Mose Schrute) writes and directs tonight’s episode which had some genuinely touching moments without compromising the comedic flow of the show, or without feeling too forced, much like Community the past few weeks, which hides behinds longing glances and cute music. The opener was great, with Leslie and Ben complaining about a voting machine that gave you a chocolate bar if you voted for Newport and the sound...
