Rohit Shetty's kinship with Shah Rukh Khan is terminated, at least for now. Sources say Rohit and Shah Rukh's plans to do another film together after Chennai Express and Dilwale have been aborted. Shetty will once again work with his old pal Ajay Devgn. Says the source, "The experience of making Dilwale was not a very pleasant one for Rohit. There were constant arguments specially about the release date. Rohit was against releasing the film along with Bajirao Mastani. But Shah Rukh insisted. For now the project that the two of them planned together has been put on hold." Instead Rohit Shetty will be doing another Golmaal film with his pal Ajay Devgn. The source informs that the script for the new Golmaal film is now being worked out. "This will be Rohit's fourth Golmaal outing with Ajay. And they want it bigger, brighter and funnier than before,...

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” goes the Xmas song, but it also applies to sorting through the dreck and crap that came out of Bollywood in 2015. I watched many of these duds so that you don’t have to, and trust me they’re not as hilarious as I’m going to make them, because for every great Jodi like Srk-Kajol in Dilwale there’s Sunny Leone being paired with Ram Kapoor. Yet there were some awful gems like Msg and its sequel that came out in the same year – take that annual Fast and Furious franchise! Herewith is the worst and secretly hilarious of the year.
Worst Actor – Emraan Hashmi for Hamari Adhuri Kahani/Mr X
After doing so well in Shanghai, and Ghanchakkar, Emraan decided to play it safe with his performances in Hamari Adhuri Kahani (paired opposite Vidya Balan) and the atrocious Mr X.

There is a lot of buzz around Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty being launched by Salman Khan's production Hero, which is a remake of Subhash Ghai's blockbuster of 80s. However, star kids (especially two new faces) getting swanky launch pads in Bollywood with grooming and exposure is not a new thing. In the past also, we have come across such hugely-anticipated debuts. Though they arrived amidst much hype and fanfare, they couldn't entice the audience in their debut venture. While some star kids later went on to win over everyone, others couldn't create any spark!
But we hope it doesn't turn out to be the case with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who are about to start their career with Hero.
Meanwhile, we take a look at other star kids, who were given dream launch pads in the industry, but...

Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns sees Ajay Devgan reprise his much-applauded role of D.C.P Bajirao Singham.
For an action thriller, Singham featured a short yet well composed soundtrack by national award-winners Ajay-Atul and lyrics by the incorrigible Swanand Kirkire. Shetty has opted for another short album again, comprising of five tracks composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh (‘Lungi Dance’ – Chennai Express), Jeet Ganguly (Aashiqui 2), Ankit Tiwari (Ek Villain) and Meet Bros Anjan (Kick). Vocal talents featured in the album are that of Mamta Sharma (‘Munni Badnaam’ – Dabangg), Arjit Singh (‘Muskurane’ – Citylights), Ankit Tiwari (‘Galliyaan’ – Ek Villain) and Mika Singh (‘Jhumme Ki Raat’ – Kick).
The album opens with Aaja Mata Satakli. If you are not tiresome of the overuse of Yo Yo Honey Singh in Bollywood yet, then ‘Aaja Mata Satakli’ just might be impressive or the push you needed to feel otherwise. It is a typical Yo Yo fare,...

Mumbai, Aug 20: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says that the director Rohit Shetty-actor Ajay Devgn pair, who have created several hits together, is one of its kind.
Shetty and Ajay have delivered hits like "Golmaal" series, "Bol Bachchan" and "Singham".
"Rohit and Ajay have a very beautiful jodi. I don't think anything like this can be made. A franchise of three films ('Golmaal' series) that too so successful. I think it's a record of sorts," Srk, who worked with Shetty in superhit "Chennai Express", said here.
"The kind of franchise 'Golmaal' is, it is the first of its kind in our country. The best thing is everyone.

It was a somber Wednesday evening at Sanjay Dutt's Pali Hill residence when the actor's incarceration was just hours away. Sanjay Dutt decided to spend the evening with his wife Maanyata and his twins. And contrary to reports on Thursday morning, there were no dramatic outbursts from Dutt. According to his friends, Dutt was remarkably calm and controlled on the evening before his impending incarceration.
"In fact Baba was providing comfort to Maanyata bhabhi who was acutely tense and inconsolable," says a friend.
Close friends dropped in to wish Dutt goodbye promising to be there for his family. Among the actors who stayed with Dutt for a major part of the evening was Ajay Devgn. Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had just returned to Mumbai were seen at the Dutts' residence for some time.
Says a source, "There was not much conversation. No one seemed in the mood to talk.

The last time Suniel Shetty was seen in a negative role was in Farah Khan's film Main Hoon Na. And now, the actor is all set to play the villain yet again. In fact Shetty has been roped in to play the baddie in Prabhu Dheva's next film which stars Ajay Devgn in lead. Interestingly, this film will mark the reunion of Ajay and Suniel after a gap of six years. The actors were last seen sharing screen space in the 2007 film Cash.

Despite the gems we have seen in 2012, there’s always going to be a lineup of duds that let you down and unintentionally make you laugh. 2012 rolled out the big masala films and introduced a great bunch of well-written and thoughtful films. So it’s time to scrape through dreck and remind ourselves of films that were better left unwatched and tossed out and that too for the right reasons! From egregious dubbing voices for debutantes, to more ridiculous dance moves from Salman and Ajay Devgn, the Razzies this year remind us that there’s always the good, the dreadful, and the awful.

Meera: Abhishek Bachchan looks dapper and smart in his monochrome suit. Love the bowtie too!
Wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks stunning in her Indian attire. Even though the outfit is heavily embroidered it is not over whelming on Ash and she carries it off gracefully.
Verdict: Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are Hot!

Mumbai, June 13: After "Singham" and "Golmaal 3", Rohit Shetty has given Ajay Devgn a distinct style in "Bol Bachchan".
The filmmaker has given Ajay's character, Prithviraj Raghuvanshi who is addicted to speaking in English, some witty proverbs.
Shetty first gave Ajay dialogues like "Aata majhi satakli" in "Singham", and in "Golmaal 3" he asked Ajay to flaunt eye-catching finger breaking quirk.
In "Bol Bachchan", Ajay's character's tries hard.

Mumbai: Everybody knows that Karan Johar is too fond of the onscreen chemistry of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. And casts the pair in his films often. “My Name Is Khan” is one such film where we last saw the duo, and it was a film of Dharma Productions. But this time there is a twist in the story. Kjo is considering a real-life couple to be casted in his film. That’s Ajay Devgn and Kajol.
The real-life’s last film together was in 2008 “U Me Aur Hum”. Kjo has piped in Rohit Shetty to direct the film, so we can guess very well from where the idea of casting Ajay and Kajol came from! But the film has been pushed far away since Shetty is busy with his other films like “Bol Bachchan” and Srk starrer “Chennai Express”.
Kjo’s film is a Masala flick, so its highly anticipated.

Flying Cars, Wire Fu, Iris scorching colors, punny one liners! It’s time for another Rohit Shetty picture but even with all his usual tropes after last year’s very enjoyable (although completely forgettable) Singham, we might slowly be beaten into submission and actually look forward to his movies!
Allegedly an adaptation of 1979′s Golmaal and not his own box office record breaking Golmaal series. The title is confusing and the success of which has been astounding, his movies are hated by critics but loved by family audiences. (think Michael Bay)
The trailer starts the legacy of movies he has created we see the movie posters of all his movies and pretty much tells the audience to shut up and just watch the movie. We quickly get introductory shots of long time collaborator, friend of director Rohit Shetty and producer Ajay Devgn who plays a village wrestler/goonda and Abhishek Bachchan...

A policeman.s role in Bollywood earlier meant playing second fiddle, but not any more. With .Dabangg. and .Singham., the doors have opened up for cop-centric films with audiences lapping up the brawny, brash and over-the-top characters. The year 2011 saw Ajay Devgn and John Abraham donning the khaki uniform in .Singham. and .Force. respectively and creating a stir at the box office. The trend seems to be continuing this year with cop-centric movies like .Talaash., .Maximum., .Zila Ghaziabad. and .Shootout at Wadala. lined up for release. This is in contrast to earlier films, when a police officer found place mostly as supporting cast. But with the new trend, many leading actors are readily donning the role. One of the most keenly awaited films, .Talaash. will see perfectionist actor Aamir Khan returning in the role of a police officer, 11 years after his hit .Sarfarosh..After playing a police officer in .Bbuddah...

Yet another remake hits Hindi screens and tries its hand with lady luck. This time it is hit combo Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn in the action avatar, Singham. But it’s not the fact of being a remake that sets a film a part or be detrimental to any film. In the scheme of the things, the audience has somewhat gotten used to every third film falling into one of the categories remake, sequel or second episode. The challenge is making it enjoyable for even the select section of the audience that has seen the original, no matter the language or the period. For this hit jodi, the need to go a step forward and bring out something bigger and better than the Tamil Blockbuster starring Suriya Sivakumar and Sweety [Anushka] Shetty, is far greater with the memory Ghajini so strong even now. Considering the statement made by director Rohit Shetty...

"For the last five years, I’ve been asked when I was going to make an out-and-out action film. It’s been a long wait but as soon as I saw Surya’s Tamil film, Singham, I knew I had to remake it in Hindi,” says director Rohit Shetty whose father Mb Shetty was a stunt-actor, who assisted Ajay Devgn’s father, action director Veeru Devgn. The Rohit-Ajay combo is already a hit in Bollywood, but in the case of Singham, Rohit insists that he couldn’t think beyond Ajay. “He’s the Surya of the north,” he smiles. “Singham is no Bond flick. Actor Ajay Devgan is playing a tough cop in his forthcoming action flick, ‘Singham’ to be directed by Rohit Shetty. To get into the character, Ajay has worked hard on his body and build up a muscular body. He is playing a hard cop who is in charge of the villages on the Maharashtra-Goa border in the film. "We`ve tried to achieve for Ajay the physique of a man who could bash up 20 people, if he so wished. It`s not a six pack look. Anyone can achieve that with injections and steroids," said Shetty. "`Singham` is a raw action film filled with hand-to-hand combat scenes, something one rarely gets to see in movies ...
