Zack Snyder is currently one of the most prominent directors in Hollywood, garnering both praise and criticism. While he has demonstrated skills in directing a specific type of film, his work has also faced its share of criticism and it’s not hard to see why. However, it appears that almost two decades before Snyder’s Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman and Superman clashed in the Dcau because Bruce Timm got very lucky.

Zack Snyder has faced criticism, with some labeling him a ‘hack’ for his film portrayal and perceived fixation on unnecessary themes and biblical imagery. This was pretty much evident in the Dceu film Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. That said, his version of Justice League released a few years ago proved to be a huge success.

Superman: The Animated Series included appearances from Batman, Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and more. The critically acclaimed, low-rated 1980s ABC drama China Beach is fondly remembered for its moving and gritty stories, set mostly in a U.S. Army hospital during the Vietnam War. It’s also remembered for its boldest storytelling twist. The Season 4 premiere suddenly jumps to 1985, where many of the series’s character s— including nurse Colleen McMurphy (Dana Delaney) — are coping with the war’s lingering trauma. For the rest of the season, episodes move around in time, adding resonance to what Colleen and company are going through in Vietnam.

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from the series finale of FX’s Mayans M.C. titled “Slow to Bleed Fair Son.”
On tonight’s episode of Mayans M.C. titled “Slow to Bleed Fair Son,” the biker gang whose origins date back to Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy and later expanded into its own spinoff series takes its last ride—and it’s messy as hell.
Without El Padrino Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) at the helm of the club, it was only a matter of time before the whole thing exploded into chaos. After being ousted by former prospect turned president Ez Reyes (Jd Pardo) in Season 4, it took some time for Alvarez to figure out what his life would look like in a post-Mayans world. As the founding member of the charter, Alvarez struggled but discovered in the finale ever so clearly that he is where...

When you watch a series for so long, there usually comes a point where things grow stale and get predictable.
Mayans M.C. was never one of those shows.
Launching years after the conclusion of Sons of Anarchy meant there were certain expectations, and the series successfully carved out its own identity to deliver one of the most brutal shows on TV.
It all ended with Mayans M.C. Season 5 Episode 10, which I'm surprised to say was a near-perfect series finale.
It's hard not to have certain expectations when watching a series/franchise end, but "Slow to Bleed Fair Son" covered all the bases to bring this story to a close.
E.Z.'s journey across five seasons has been one of the best-developed arcs on the small screen, with Jd Pardo embodying this man who found himself making decision after decision to benefit other people.
Ultimately, though, the truth about E.

“The Other Two” is coming to a close after three seasons amid reports of a toxic workplace.
The beloved and critically acclaimed series will conclude with its current third season, making the June 29 episode the series finale. “The Other Two” was created by former “SNL” writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, who shared a press statement clarifying the decision to end after Season 3 was not due to being canceled.
However, The Hollywood Reporter credited sources saying there were “multiple staff complaints” about showrunners Kelly and Schneider over the course of the production. Per the THR report, the Hr complaints stemmed from behavior on set and in the writers’ room, including allegations that Kelly “verbally abused writers and overworked crew and claims that Schneider enabled his behavior.”
A source tells IndieWire that the report was unfounded and not connected to the series ending. Max representatives did not provide comment to THR.

The Other Two, the comedy series starring Heléne Yorke, Drew Tarver and Molly Shannon, is coming to a close with its third season on Max.
However, rather than being canceled, the decision was made by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, co-creators of the buzzy comedy, who said that they have run out of ways to “humiliate” Tarver.
“It is bittersweet to say goodbye to the Dubek family after three seasons, but we always knew, both creatively and personally, that this was where we wanted to end their stories,” the pair said. “And because we are quite literally out of ways to humiliate Drew Tarver, so what’s the point?”
The move comes ahead of the third-season finale, which sees Shannon’s billionaire mogul mom Pat and her ex-lover/manager Streeter (Ken Marino) strategize how to broach difficult conversations with her kids, Cary (Tarver) and Brooke (Yorke). The episode airs Thursday,...

As a Western based on real events, "Tombstone" was made with an eye toward historical accuracy, with all but one actor, for instance, growing out a real mustache, to be waxed and curled up in accordance with period photos. Not everything that transpires in "Tombstone" is in line with what really happened, however. The movie documents the feud that erupted between the family of "legendary lawman" Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) and a gang of local cowboys in Tombstone, Arizona, in the late 1800s, with tensions spilling over into the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral and the ensuing Earp Vendetta Ride. Unsurprisingly, though, in compressing a multi-year story down to 130 minutes, "Tombstone" takes some liberties with the timeline of events.
According to MovieWeb, much of the colorful dialogue in "Tombstone" — such as the line from Val Kilmer's tuberculosis-ridden Doc Holliday, "You're a daisy if you do" — is pulled from real newspaper reports.

Goldie Hawn has been a star for more than 50 years. She got her start dancing and giggling, often in a bikini, on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In," a seminal TV comedy series of the late 1960s. She left the show to focus on her film career. At first, her film roles were pretty similar to the free spirit/dumb blonde act she did on "Laugh-In," but her potential as a comedic actor shone through, and by the 1980s, she was leading movies herself. After starring in some classics of the '80s and '90s, she left acting behind in the early 2000s, focusing on her family, writing her autobiography, and running the Hawn Foundation, a nonprofit that helps disadvantaged kids perform better in school.
After a 15-year hiatus from the big screen, Goldie Hawn returned to star with Amy Schumer in the comedy "Snatched." Since then, she's appeared alongside her real-life partner,...

Forget about the Disgusting Brothers: Welcome back to the Despicable Twins of Max’s “The Other Two.”
The long-awaited Season 3 of the hit satirical series deepens its disdain for Hollywood, with siblings Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Cary (Drew Tarver) grappling with finding meaning in their respective rising entertainment industry careers. Sylvester Stallone’s rise is a story so celebrated, it’s come to shape how we imagine the Hollywood dream. A young, no-name actor writes a script, sells it to a studio, fights to play the title role, and — for his effort, his faith, and his talent — the movie turns him into a star. More than a star, really. “Rocky” and the ensuing sequels helped establish Stallone as a multi-hyphenate artist. For nearly 50 years, Stallone has been writing, acting, producing, and directing many of his own projects.
But after his latest dual role — leading and executive producing the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King” — Stallone may be staying behind the camera on his future creative endeavors. When asked if he’s writing any passion projects to direct and star in, Stallone said, “I might, but maybe not the acting.” He mentioned “Poe,” the Edgar Allen Poe biopic he’s long sought to realize,...

While Dwight took out Nico to avenge his daughter, all Chickie saw was a disobedient soldier. For that, he got a smack upside the head.
Men like Chickie fail to understand how beneficial the flies and honey adage really is. Dwight is building a team, and that team is forming an allegiance to him and the others in it because they're treated...

Family is at the core of Tulsa King Season 1 Episode 4, and one character is likely to make a bad decision in that regard.
Tyson continues to be at odds with his father over his relationship with Dwight, and it's unlikely to get any better.
Dwight, meanwhile, learned that his little brother Joey was knocking on death's door.
Family is an interesting concept in Tulsa King because Dwight spent most of his life with and protecting his found family, the mob, and, just out of prison, the pattern continues.
He knows how working within that found family harmed his actual family, but even as he's actively trying to make amends, he's creating a new mob family and luring others into the life with him.
As it stands now, Dwight's relatives don't know he's back in business. It's unlikely to be a surprise, but they're at least mercifully in the dark.
That's about to change,...

Sylvester Stallone is a mafia capo who has just been released from prison after 25 years in the new Paramount+ series "Tulsa King." The series, which marks Stallone's first time working in scripted TV, comes to us from — let me give you a sec to think about this — Taylor Sheridan. It's very likely that you already guessed. Sheridan must have stock in a coffee bean farm or energy drink factory because he obviously doesn't sleep. His shows on the streaming service include "Yellowstone," "Mayor of Kingstown," the recently completed "1883," and the upcoming "1923," "Lioness," "6666," "The Land Man," and "1883: The Bass Reeves Story."
"Tulsa King" has Stallone's character relocated from his New York roots to Tulsa, Oklahoma, after his prison release. Though he doesn't seem happy about the new assignment, he will not let that stand in the way of success.
