Simmering undercurrents of dread and distrust drive this updated .Bonnie and Clyde. set in the dark inner city. Charlie Rankin is getting out of prison. That is the good news. The bad news is that there is this voice in his head telling him that he must avenge the betrayal that put him there. Even worse, the voice is that of Willem Dafoe (.Shadow of the Vampire,. .Antichrist,. .Spiderman.), the one man you do not want inside your head as you are trying to get a night.s sleep. .It is bad enough, says Dafoe.s character, William "The Buddha" Pettigrew, that this man took away four years of your life and stole your money. But the worst thing is...

It’s extremely hard to make a movie where almost nothing happens and still have an interesting and entertaining result. Director David Jacobson clearly didn’t know just how difficult of a task this is when he was making Tomorrow You’re Gone, as his final result shows nothing happening in a very bland film.
Charlie Rankin (Stephen Dorff) is out of prison, but still indebted to a man who supposedly saved his life behind bars (Willem Dafoe). Charlie’s first task to make things even is to carry out a murder, but things are complicated when he meets a woman named Florence (Michelle Monaghan), who instantly falls for him and tries to pry the good out of his tough exterior.
It isn’t as if this is a film where the filmmaker finds the characters much more interesting than the audience does and that is the cause of the dull moments,...

Here is another mediocre film starring Michelle Monaghan. We showed you one yesterday and this one looks on par with that one. The films also stars Stephen Dorff and Willem Dafoe. I tend to stray away from movies that come out On Demand and in theaters simultaneously.
Charlie Rankin is out of prison, but not out of trouble. Indebted to the man who saved his life behind bars, Charlie must now carry out a murder to settle the score. But things start to change for Charlie when he meets Florence (Michelle Monaghan, Mission Impossible III), a mysterious and beautiful lost soul who sees the good hidden beneath his tough exterior. When the hit goes bad, it’s Charlie’s life that is on the line, and he’ll have to figure out how to settle his debts—and keep Florence out of danger—before his past catches up to him.

The familiar thriller trope of a former criminal just trying to get his life in order until he's given one last job is back in action with Tomorrow You're Gone. This time it's Stephen Dorff (Somewhere, Blade) in the protagonist role as his final job goes wrong. But it's not just any job. This one comes from a man (Willem Dafoe) who saved his life in prison and wants a murder carried out in exchange. With 24 hours to clean up his mess, everything is on the line, including a promising nice girl (Michelle Monaghan). This doesn't look terrible, but it just feels like we've seen this movie before. Perhaps Dorff and Dafoe can spice this up. Here's the first trailer for David Jacobson's Tomorrow You're Gone originally from Apple: Charlie Rankin (Stephen Dorff) is out of prison, but not out of trouble. Indebted to the man who saved his...

The movie, which will be directed by David Jacobson, follows ex-con Charlie after he is just released from a four-year prison sentence. He has a fling with an insecure former porn star, Florence Jane, who will be played by Monaghan. After the fling, Charlie must perform...

After being attached to direct the book to film adaptation of Matthew F. Jones' A Single Shot, Dahmer helmer David Jacobson has instead pulled out another Jones novel in Boot Tracks and will direct that instead.
