It’s been at least two weeks since the ubiquitous studio insiders and unnamed sources said the producers of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo would make a decision on the Lisbeth Salander situation. Despite the silence from David Fincher and company, there has been a bit of casting news on the upcoming film.
Last Thursday, Deadline reported that Robin Wright has signed to play Erika Berger, editor of Millennium Magazine and occasional lover of Mikeal Blomkvist (Daniel Craig). Wright is also working on a deal to star in the other two films in the Millennium trilogy.
To sum up the casting thus far, we have Daniel Craig as Blomkvist, Stellan Skarsgard as Martin Vanger, and now, Robin Wright as Erika Berger.
