We wish! Many fans (rightly) assume celebrity chef BFFs Bobby Flay and Giada de Laurentiis are dating — but, sadly, the two aren't together. Why, you ask? Probably because they have trouble getting along sometimes! The friends competed on Iron Chef America together in 2006, but things didn't exactly go as planned —they lost to popular chefs Mario Batali and Rachael Ray. "We lost and he thought it was funny," Giada revealed in a new interview on her podcast Beyond the Plate. "He didn’t think it was any big deal that we lost. I did not talk to him for eight months‚ eight months! I did not. Nothing. Silence." Giada was mostly mad that he didn't take their defeat seriously (understandably). "I thought, you know, I took this very seriously. It was a very big show, especially at that time, and I’ve cooked, I’ve gone to culinary school, I...

It’ll air on 90 percent of NBC stations, along with Sinclair and Hearst channels. The show is produced by Harvey, Shane Farley, and Img and filmed in Los Angeles. It debuted last September, following the five-year run of “Steve Harvey,” a similar program based in Chicago and syndicated by Endemol. Do not take offense to the new way of doing business. It is for the good of my personal life and enjoyment” was leaked by a staff member from Harvey’s Chicago-based talk show.

What does Giada de Laurentiis eat for breakfast on her birthday? Cake, of course! The restaurateur and Food Network star's 46th birthday got off to an excellent start Monday when her boyfriend, Shane Farley, presented her with a rather tempting-looking chocolate cake in the morning—and of course she shared a pic of the confection on Instagram. And not only was Farley the one doing the baking (or at least visiting the bakery), he was also wielding the camera. "Breakfast of champions on my bday!! Thx to @shanefarley #i❤️mybday," Giada captioned the photo, which is of her taking a picture of the cake. Looks like life...

VH1 has offered Amanda Bynes a job on the hit morning show "Big Morning Buzz Live," which covers breaking pop culture news.
"Amanda Bynes has been a Hollywood insider for over 15 years. Her insight on the entertainment business would prove invaluable to our show,” executive producer Shane Farley told me.
Totally serious about the offer, the Emmy Award-winning morning show's producer says that they would love for Bynes to join their team as a correspondent on the show, weighing in with hosts Carrie Keagan and Jason Dundas.
In June 2010, Bynes took to Twitter to announce that she planned to retire from acting.
"I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it,” she wrote at the time. Since then she has remained in the headlines mainly for her troubles with the law, including several driving accidents.

Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis are in talks to co-host their own daytime talk show. Flay and De Laurentiis are in final talks with CBS for the show that has been described as similar to Live With Regis & Kelly. The syndicated talk show will be produced by Rachael Ray's Shane Farley.
Rumors of the show began swirling earlier this year. Flay and De Laurentiis have already worked together as judges on The Next Food Network Star and recently appeared on the Today show together.
If all goes well, the new talk show will begin to air in Fall 2013.

I’ve learned that CBS TV Distribution is finalizing a deal with Bobby Flay and Giada de Laurentiis to develop a syndicated daytime talk show for Fall 2013. The talker is expected to be in the vein of Live With Regis & Kelly and also air live. Shane Farley (Rachael Ray) will executive produce. This is the second high-profile syndicated talk show in the works for fall 2013. Sony TV is working on a show hosted by Queen Latifah and co-produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. Flay and DeLaurentiis, granddaughter of veteran film producer Dino DeLaurentiis, each have their own shows on Food Network, and both were recently nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards, Flay for Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction and DeLaurentiis for Giada at Home. DeLaurentiis’ show actually scored the most Emmy noms for a culinary program, 5, followed by the most popular food-themed talk show over the past few years, Rachael Ray,...

As its ratings remain disappointingly low, the Oprah Winfrey Network's "The Rosie Show" has laid off some 30 employees and contract workers as it attempts to "evolve" and attract a larger audience.
Crain's Chicago Business reports that new Chicagoan and comedienne Rosie O'Donnell has, as of Jan. 16, shifted her taping into a new, more intimate and colorful set before an audience of about 70, compared to the several hundred capacity of the former studio of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" at Harpo Studios, where the show was previously taped.
Further, the show has eliminated its game show segment and begun taping more one-on-one conversations between O'Donnell and her guests, according to Crain's.
The layoffs, according to a show spokesperson, were due to the fact that the smaller studio requires fewer staff to support the operation.

Further, the show has eliminated its game show segment and begun taping more one-on-one conversations between O'Donnell and her guests, according to Crain's.
The layoffs, according to a show spokesperson, were due to the fact that the smaller studio requires fewer staff to support the operation.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, "The Rosie Show" also announced late last month that a new producer -- Shane Farley ("Rachael Ray,...

Rosie O’Donnell’s new daily talk show on Own: Oprah Winfrey Network is looking to shake off lackluster ratings with a new executive producer and a new set. Shane Farley, who worked with O’Donnell on her previous Emmy-winning syndicated talker The Rosie O’Donnell Show has come on as executive producer. He replaces Page Hurwitz, who as executive producer oversaw The Rosie Show‘s launch and first three months on the air. Farley has more than 15 years of experience producing talk shows, most recently Rachael Ray. The Rosie Show kicked off 2012 with a new smaller and brightly colored set. It fits about 70 audience members, about a fifth of the original set, and is inspired by Rosie’s art studio at her home in New York. The radical downsizing does not allow for a band setup, though Own said that “musical director Katreese Barnes will continue to be fully engaged behind the scenes,...

On the air for just three months, and already Rosie O'Donnell’s ratings-challenged Own show is getting a makeover. The struggling cable network announced Wednesday that it had hired Emmy-winning producer and former O'Donnell collaborator Shane Farley (Rachel Ray, Rosie O’Donnell Show) to replace Page Hurwitz as executive producer of The Rosie Show. What’s more, the Chicago-based talk show is moving into a significantly smaller 70-seat studio, a bid to inspire a sense of intimacy and lower costs on a series that now averages just more than 200,000 viewers. The new space will feature O’Donnell’s own art and

Daytime syndicated talk show "Rachael Ray" has been renewed through the 2011-12 season after the ABC Owned TV Stations inked a deal to pick up the Emmy-winning show for two more seasons.
Now in its third season, "Rachael Ray" has been cleared in almost 60% of the country through 2012, or the talker's sixth season.
"Viewers really responded to our initial idea to expand Rachael beyond the kitchen and turn it into a hit daytime show," said Terry Wood, president of programming for CBS TV Distribution, which distributes and produces "Rachael Ray" in association with Harpo Prods., Scripps Networks and Watch Entertainment.
"Rachael Ray," winner of the best talk show Daytime Emmy Award last year, is nominated for four 2009 Daytime Emmys including best talk show and best talk show host.
Janet Annino is the show's executive producer, with Joseph Freed and Shane Farley serving as senior supervising producer and supervising producer, respectively.

Despite a vote of confidence from Buena Vista Television for a second season of The Tony Danza Show, sidekick Ereka Vetrini, executive producer John Redmann and supervising producer Shane Farley will not be returning in year two. Vetrini, whose claim to fame was competing on the first edition of NBC's The Apprentice, is certainly no stranger to being publicly axed. On February 26, 2004, she was the eighth person fired by Donald Trump on national television for failing to market a new product properly. Buena Vista, which confirmed the three departures, denies that anyone else, including the rumored Gloria Estefan, is being groomed to take over the show. According to the syndicator, "We are 100% behind Tony Danza and 'The Tony Danza Show.'" Based on data from Nielsen Media Research through June 19, Danza ranks No. 9 out of 15 syndicated talk shows with a 1.3 household rating. Clearances in season two represent over 90% of the country.
