Camryn Grimes has been on The Young and the Restless since 1997, playing Cassie Newman and Mariah Copeland. Like many actors in the soap opera world, she prioritizes health and fitness. However, they don’t have to be complicated. Grimes has tips for incorporating these activities into a busy life, such as having simple yet nutritious snacks.

Grimes told Soap Hub in 2022 she wasn’t into sports as a child because “acting took up so much” of her time. However, these days, she incorporates fitness into her life.
For example, she loves rock climbing. “I used to work as a rock-climbing instructor … really connected me to my body for the first time in my life,” Grimes said. “It’s such physical work, but it’s also a puzzle.

Her quest for love becomes a fight for survival when she slowly discovers that a mysterious killer is slaying the contestants, one by one, even with the cameras rolling. Jess must navigate a sea of two-faced beauty queens, coldhearted producers, and one mysterious and deadly killer in order to get off the island alive.

What do you do when your wife forces you to watch The Bachelor? You make a horror movie about it, of course… and that’s exactly what director Tim Cruz did. His third film The Final Rose is a slasher-whodunit set on a remote island about a single mother competing on a reality TV dating show called Love at Last. When the contestants become targets of a mysterious masked killer, their search for romance turns into a fight for survival.
Pitched to Fox and Tubi in September 2021, the concept was impressively bought on the spot based on two sentences. Cruz and co-writer Blake Rutledge created the outline in two weeks, completed the first draft in five and shot the film in 12 days during a sweltering June in California. Fittingly released during Filipino American History Month, Cruz expresses pride in it most likely being the first studio-produced film with a Filipino director,...

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is adding a cop, a boyfriend and a mean girl with the addition of Eric Johnson (The Knick, Rookie Blue), Alex Aiono (Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.) and Mallory Bechtel (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen) in series-regular roles, our sister site Deadline reports.
As previously reported, HBO Max’s Pll reboot hails from executive producer/writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), and takes place “miles away from Rosewood.” It picks up two decades after a series of tragic events “almost ripped the blue-collar town apart.” In the present day, “a group of disparate...

Daytime Emmy Award winner Eric Braeden has spent 40 years playing the villain Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless. But even though he’s done some despicable things on the show, the daytime drama will celebrate Braeden’s milestone 40th anniversary with episodes airing Tuesday, Feb. 18 – Thursday, Feb. 20 on the CBS Television Network.
The character of “Victor Newman” made his first appearance on Feb. 8, 1980. Initially, Newman was to be a guest character with a story arc lasting about eight to 12 weeks. But Braeden’s portrayal was so dynamic that 12 weeks grew into 40 years, and he became one of daytime’s most iconic male leads. Although the character is ruthless, he is loving to those he holds dear, as proven over the many years of controversial plots and relationships.

The 2018 Daytime Emmys will be handed out on Sunday, April 29, but the winners in the drama acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. In the race for Best Supporting Actress, Camryn Grimes has earned her fifth career Emmy nomination for CBS’s “The Young and the Restless.” She has played Mariah Copeland on the show since 2014, but before that she portrayed Mariah’s twin sister Cassie Newman, a role that earned her an Emmy for Best Younger Actress in 2000 at age 10, which made her the youngest acting winner in the history of the Daytime Emmys. Can Grimes’s submission help her win a second Emmy, and her first as an adult?
The submission begins with Mariah kissing Tessa (Best Younger Actress nominee Cait Fairbanks). Mariah is apologetic about the kiss, especially since she is in a relationship with Devon (Bryton James) and...

The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on Sunday, April 29, but the winners in the drama acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. In the race for Best Younger Actress, daytime newcomer Cait Fairbanks earned a nomination for her role as Tessa Porter on “The Young and the Restless.” She debuted on the show in 2017, so she has earned an Emmy bid on her very first try. Can the rookie also win? She submitted scenes in which Tessa is conflicted about falling in love with another woman.
In the first scene on the reel, Tessa is saying goodbye to her friend Mariah (Best Supporting Actress nominee Camryn Grimes) as Tessa prepares to move in with her boyfriend Noah (Robert Adamson). It’s hard to say goodbye because they’ve been through a lot together, including saving Tessa’s sister from a sex trafficker.

Last season, there was no danger of The Young and the Restless being cancelled because, back in 2014, it had been renewed for multiple seasons. The CBS soap doesn't have that guarantee in season 44. It's still the highest-rated soap on television but, these days, you never know what can happen. Will it continue to dominate the genre for years to come? As far as “unsolved mystery” horror films go, The Axe Murders Of Villisca is nothing more than generic at best. Why prey on such a famed case in – wait, let’s rewind quick. Are you even aware of this tragic Iowa slaughterfest? Let’s revisit June 9th, 1912. According to legend, a family was brutally murdered at night by a axe-wielding maniac who was never arrested. One by one, the Moore family was beaten to death – some with the axe’s bluntest side, others hacked and slashed. A traveling Presbyterian minister confessed to the murders, claiming he heard windmills in his head before blacking out – but no convictions were made, and the deed went unpunished.

A new horror film has been made that is inspired by the horrific true story of a family and their friends who were viciously murdered in 1912 in the Iowa town of Villisca. The film is called The Axe Murders of Villisca, and the murder mystery has never been solved. It's an insane story that would make a great and terrifying horror film. Unfortunately, this movie takes place in the modern da,y and it centers around some friends who are into ghost hunting. I would have much rather seen an authentic period film that tells the actual story because that would be a lot more interesting. I'll still watch this, though, because I've been familiar with this story for years, and I've gotta see how the movie turns out, for better or for worse.

In just under a month, Nikita will (finally) kick off its Season 3. And based on this just-released promo from The CW, it’s going to be a sexy, stunt-filled ride.
While Owen-less, the first look at the spy thriller’s third cycle (launching Oct. 19) is packed with all sorts of spoilery goodies, including a handful of ‘Mikita’ hookups, a glimpse at just how tense things will get between Nikki and her new “boss” Ryan and more action-packed scenes than the series has ever attempted.

I've spent a lot of time telling you all about the different aspects of Severin Films' home video catalog and even their theatrical releases. You would think that would be all, perhaps they'd found their niche and they'd be glad to hang out in their comfort zone, but you'd be wrong. Having admirably tackled EuroSleaze, horror, the eternal works of D'amato, Borowczyk, and Franco, and dipped their toes into feature film distribution and production, you'd think they would be satisfied. However, Severin Films has so much more to offer, their future is bright, and I predict that at least a couple of their upcoming releases will blow the minds of home viewers in the coming years.
I never got around to talking about one of Severin's best complete packages, the two disc special edition of Ozploitation biker classic, Stone. A good five years before Mel Gibson hit the wide...

Joe Jonas is singing out his heartache in a music video for "Make It Right". The less-than-two-minute video clip captures the moment when the middle member of the Jonas Brothers strums his acoustic guitar and belting out the heartfelt acoustic ballad sand his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
In the video, Joe's character in "Jonas L.A." watches in jealousy as his love interest, Chelsea Staub's Stella, getting ready for her date with Robert Adamson's Ben. The song "Make It Right" itself has been featured in "Date Expectations", a July 4 episode of the Disney series which was originally titled "J.O.N.A.S!".
Heartbroken in "Date Expectations", Joe will get himself into a lot more trouble when "Jonas L.A." airs its next episode this Sunday, July 11. In "And... Action", he arrives late on the set for his first day working on a movie, and the director isn't pleased.
