Hell Den―a new animated series from Shout! Studios, DrinkTV, and Dr. God―is a six-part series that follows a young boy named Andrew, the fifth horseman of the apocalypse named Kenneth, a mutant cyborg named Bet-c, an alien named Fleek, and a giant in the midst of an apocalypse. Hell Den is now available to stream on DrinkTV.
"DrinkTV, in conjunction with Shout! Studios and Dr. God, is announcing a new show airing exclusively on the streaming platform. The first trailer has been released for the upcoming post-apocalyptic animated comedy series Hell Den. The series is said to be a mix of shows that include Robot Chicken, Beavis and Butthead, and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
The show centers around a 12-year-old boy named Andrew who is one of the few left in a post-uber-apocalypse world and Andrew’s house has electricity, a Vcr, and a full liquor cabinet. Because of this, his place becomes home base for a variety of weird and wild characters in this crazy world.
Hell Den mixes original animation and re-dubbed cartoons to create a blend of social satire, musical parody, and absurdist humor. The series will pay homage to classic old cartoon and will feature original commentary. It actually looks like a fun series that I’d enjoy watching, I just don’t want to sign up for another streaming service to watch it.

It’s the last TV party on Earth and it’s pretty twisted. Welcome to Hell Den, the new, animated post-apocalyptic comedy series from Shout! Studios that debuts this Friday on the DrinkTV streaming platform. The show’s first trailer, exclusive to Deadline, is below but it contains coarse humor and is intended for immature adult audiences.
The six-episode series features the subversive riffing talents of the Dr. God comedy troupe as they re-dub vintage clips and crack wise in the satirical traditions of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 , Beavis & Butthead and Robot Chicken. The premise: Civilization has been obliterated but, somehow, a 12-year-old kid named Andrew has survived with his home (and the world’s last stocked liquor cabinet) intact. The TV still works, too, so he’s got some new friends over for a viewing party: Bet-c, the sympathetic but volatile mutant cyborg; Fleek, a sleazy, alcoholic alien; Giantic, a towering,...

When Awkward was last renewed, it was reportedly for a fifth and final season, leaving the show effectively cancelled, which is... you know, awkward, especially with some of the developments in the finale. Showrunners Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler would like to do a sixth season and say most of the cast is game to continue the series, too. In other words, the show's fate is up to MTV.
Awkward stars Ashley Rickards, Beau Mirchoff, Nikki DeLoach, Jillian Rose Reed, and Brett Davern. In last night's Awkward season five and possibly series finale, there were some twists. Did you see them coming? Chessler previously said it was designed as a series finale, just in case it is the end. Did it feel like one, to you?

You'll be kicking yourself if you don't see "The Stanford Prison Experiment" in theaters. Seriously. And, no, I'm not just saying that because I happen to know director Kyle Patrick Alvarez socially or that it's a Sundance Jury Award-winning movie or that it depicts one of the most shocking events to occur at one of America's greatest Universities over the past fifty years.* The real reason is that besides the questions it raises about the human condition and our ability to descend to abject cruelty, "Stanford" features a once in a life time cast that will dominate Hollywood for the next 15 to 20 years.* *It also has earned strong reviews to date including a 71 grade on Metacritic and 78% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Based on true events, the new drama chronicles the 1971 psychological experiment that found Stanford University students sorted into the roles of prison guard or a generic prisoner. In theory,...

Awkward., Season 4, Episode 13: “Auld Lang Party”
Written by Sarah Walker
Directed by Mike Chessler
Airs Tuesdays at 10pm Est on MTV
The end of finals in last week’s midseason premiere brought about the end of a major source of tension for the seniors, as college admissions officially went out of their hands. This coincided with the end of two major relationships that drove the season, as both Matty and Jenna said goodbye to their partners. This week’s episode examines how the two are adjusting to their new circumstances, closing the door on another brewing conflict while adding another baffling layer to a storyline gone awry.
Lissa’s storyline continues to be an odd one. The reveal of her parents as hypocritical in their religious beliefs comes as little surprise, though it does reveal Tyler’s adoption to be a cynical ploy, rather than an earnestly misguided attempt.

In their spoiler chat report, they explained: "Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini pretty much confirmed that she's really pregnant, I'm still holding onto hope that it's not Matty's kid. But it sounds like Matty is accepting the bad news like an adult and will be taking responsibility for the baby! "Matty's getting more mature and he's getting ready for fatherhood," Beau Mirchoff spilled. "But there are so many levels of drama, and he's going to be going through a lot." And Btw, when I asked Mirchoff, Brett Davern, Molly Tarlov and Jillian Rose Reed if Eva is faking the pregnancy,...

Here's a little good news/bad news situation regarding "Awkward." When Season 4 debuts, two faces won't be returning: Ming and Collin.
When the new "Awkward" showrunners Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler spoke to Buzzfeed for the first time since taking over the MTV critical darling from creator Lauren Iungerich (who left the series in June), they revealed the casting change-up, of which one-half was deeply upsetting.
"Jessica Lu [who plays Ming] is not returning," Alberghini says. "She wanted to move on." Ming was Jenna's Bff, and for a brief time was the head of the Asian Mafia, a hilarious and quirky B story arc that will also not be returning in the new season. Her absence will definitely be missed, as she's been a major part of the series since day one.

Beau Mirchoff as “Matty” on Awkward.
Teen Wolf may be howlingly homoerotic (see our Teen Wolf gay highlight reel for proof), but let’s not overlook the welcome gay overtones of another MTV gem. Awkward. is nearing the end of it’s third season and since the show’s launch in July 2011 it has featured plenty of queer highlights, such as that proud bromance between Jake (Brett Davern) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff), witty gay sidekick Clark (Joey Haro) throwing shade from the sidelines and secretly hooking up with closeted, now-deceased Ricky (Matthew Fahey). There was also that “It Gets Moderately Ok” video and Ming (Jessica Lu) taking a girl to the prom.

When Jenna gets sloppy about getting sloppy with Collin, her blog isn’t the only thing that goes public.
When we last left Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards), she was locked in forbidden foreplay with that smarmy wordsmith Collin (Nolan Funk); and while she managed to go an entire weekend without kissing him again, Awkward‘s Oct. 22 premiere found her once again smashing her mouth against his.
If you’re wondering why I’m describing Jenna and Collin’s make-out sessions in such ugly terms, it’s because I don’t co-sign their behavior. Jenna’s been kind of the worst since day one, but now she is most definitely the very worst. Collin sucks too, but this is not news.

MTV's hit dramedy "Awkward" is heading to an entirely new, dark place in the back half of Season 3, kicking off Tuesday (Oct. 22).
Jenna (Ashely Rickards) made the shocking choice to cheat on her all-around perfect boyfriend Matty (Beau Mirchoff) in the Season 3A finale, and that one choice will catapult her and everyone around her onto a new path that no one expected to see. "Beginning of Season 3B, we're picking up where we don't even know if Matty has seen her and Collin making out," Rickards tells Zap2it. "Going into this episode, it's so unclear about who knows what and what's out of the bag, let alone what Jenna's going to do about it. There's a lot to catch up on."
So how will Jenna's choices affect everyone around her, and what's coming up for everyone in the second half of Season 3?

Written by Lauren Iungerich
Directed by Lauren Iungerich
Airs Tuesdays at 10 Pm on MTV
In many ways, throughout Awkward.’s run, Jenna has been mature beyond her years, a maturity that has only been pushed farther by the circumstances she has faced. With things going well for her, her maturity has slowly begun to manifest itself as she’s discovered an affinity for people and interests outside her social circle. This episode dives further into the idea that Jenna’s recent discomfort with her life is the result of her changing and becoming a new person, delivering a poignant episode to close out the first half of the third season.
The growing connection between Jenna and Collin was fascinating to observe this week. In many ways, Collin is less of a person, and seemingly more of a personification of Jenna’s changing...

Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you haven’t watched this week’s ‘Awkward!’
Is Awkward even a comedy anymore? Because after witnessing Jenna’s (Ashley Rickards) actions on the June 11 mid-season finale, I’ll tell you one thing: I ain’t laughin’.
I’m referring, of course, to her unpardonable sin, the one thing we’ve all been fearing would come since the first episode of the season: She kissed Collin (Nolan Funk)! Yes, it was passionate. Yes, it was epic. But most importantly, it was wrong.
To be honest, I don’t really care what’s going on in Jenna’s head; Matty (Beau Mirchoff) has been the perfect boyfriend this season — not only has he put up with her incessant pity parties, but he even learned how to dance/give good face for her — and what she did this week was unforgivable.
