He has previously worked in the U.S. on formats for NBC-Telemundo and Fox. Zeppelin, which will soon turn 30, has introduced Secret Story, Big Brother, The Bridge and Skam España to the Spanish market. Banijay Iberia CEO Pilar Blasco called Martín a “born leader who has shown unbounded creativity.” Castellano spent eight years with the label and one as MD.

Despite tier changes during the shoot, the film shot in October and November.
UK actor-filmmaker Antonia Campbell-Hughes could hardly have picked a trickier time to make her feature directorial debut.

Vienna, Feb 27 (Ians/Efe) The new film "3096 Tage" (3,096 Days) tells the story of the kidnapping and eight years in captivity of Natascha Kampusch in Austria.
The film, based on the like-named autobiography, tells of a battle of wills - that of the kidnapper out to dominate, to tame, a 10-year-old girl, and that of Kampusch, which goes from childish rebellion to the sensuality of a teen forced to grow up very quickly.
"It was obvious that only one of us would survive. And in the end it was me. And not him." The phrase that begins the movie is the climax of this battle, which the film details without being over-dramatic but without hiding the violence Kampusch suffered.

Vienna — The story of Natascha Kampusch, who grew from a 10-year old to a young woman as a captive of a sadistic abductor, is now a movie.
The film depicting her more than eight-year long ordeal premiered late Monday in Vienna. Titled "3096 Days," the English-language film is based on Kampusch's biography.
Thure Lindhardt, who played abductor Wolfgang Priklopil, says the role was "challenging," while Campbell-Hughes describes her portrayal of Kampusch as "a very great responsibility."
Prominent Austrians in the audience came away impressed. Former Interior Minister Karl Blecha said the film succeeded in depicting the horrors of Kampusch's torment.
Kampusch was snatched off a Vienna street when she was 10 and held prisoner until she fled in August 2006. Priklopil committed suicide within hours of her escape.

Kidnap victim Natascha Kampusch and Northern Irish actress Antonia Campbell-Hughes attended the 3096 Days premiere in Vienna last night (February 25).
3096 Days documents the harrowing eight and a half years that Kampusch was held captive by Wolfgang Priklopil after he abducted her near the Austrian capital aged 10 in 1998.
The film is based on the book that the 25-year-old wrote following her escape in 2005. Priklopil committed suicide shortly afterwards.
Kampusch, who at one point weighed just 84lbs during her captivity, kept a diary which she wrote on loo paper and stored in a box.
Meanwhile, Campbell-Hughes made headlines and shocked fans after she revealed her extreme weight loss to play the role of Kampusch. The 30-year-old Albert Nobbs star attended a BFI Film Festival premiere last year and exposed her emaciated figure in a sheer blue dress.
Speaking about the role at the premiere yesterday, Campbell-Hughes told reporters: "It was a very isolated time,...

For actors, suffering for one's art usually means weight gain, rather than weight loss – think Robert De Niro in Raging Bull, or Renée Zellweger in Bridget Jones's Diary. Michael Fassbender, who shed two stone for his role in Hunger, was a rarity.
But recently, the reverse has been true. First there was Anne Hathaway, who lost 7kg (16lb) to play a tuberculosis victim in Les Miserables. Then came Matthew McConaughey. Normally chunky, he was seen on Tuesday looking practically emaciated – cheekbones the size of craters. He lost 14kg to play an Aids patient in a new film called The Dallas Buyers' Club. Trace it to the 2006 Natascha Kampusch case or the even more terrible 2008 Elisabeth Fritzl one reverberating through into fiction, but longterm kidnapping is having a moment. Despite apparently opening with a card that claims otherwise, the incidents seem unavoidable inspirations for Frédéric Videau’s "A Moi Seule," which just had its premiere in Berlin, a film that tracks through the eight-year relationship between an man and the girl he kidnaps and hides in his basement. Emma Donoghue's acclaimed 2010 novel "Room" is narrated by a five-year-old kid who's lived his entire life in the claustrophobic space in which he and his mother have been imprisoned. And Markus Schleinzer's "Michael," which opens in New York this week after bowing at Cannes last year, gazes impassively at five months in the life of the title character, played by Michael Fuith, who's been holding a 10-year-old boy named Wolfgang (David Rauchenberger)...

Story of woman held captive in Vienna for eight years after her abduction as a 10-year-old to shoot despite producer's death
A controversial biopic about the kidnapping and incarceration of the Austrian Natascha Kampusch, who was held for eight years in a basement cell, has been given the green light despite the death of its main architect.
German film-maker Bernd Eichinger had been working on the screenplay for the project at the time of his death in January. Journalist Peter Reichard, who interviewed Kampusch for German television, helped him with the initial drafts.
Natascha Kampusch's story shocked the world in 2006 when she escaped from kidnapper Wolfgang Priklopil, a communications technician, after being held captive for 3,096 days – much of it in a tiny basement room. Most surprising to many was the fact that the young woman, who was taken when she was just 10, appeared to show empathy with her kidnapper.

The controversial biopic about Natascha Kampusch is moving forward without Bernd Eichinger producing. The film tells the story of the Austrian girl kidnapped and held for 8 years in a basement cell. Eichinger was working on the screenplay for the film when he passed away unexpectedly in January. He was responsible for producing such films as the Oscar-nominated Downfall as well as the Resident Evil and Fantastic Four franchises.
Constantin Films is producing the film and have begun searching for directors and are finishing the script. Eichinger worked on the initial drafts of the script with ournalist Peter Reichard, who spent months interviewing Kampusch for a German TV documentary. Production head Martin Moskowicz believes a director will be attached to the film by June/July, with filming expected to begin next year.
This is pretty intense story and one that will make an interesting feature film. I am interested in seeing how the project turns out.

Her kidnapper, 44-year-old Wolfgang Priklopil, killed himself hours after she escaped in 2006.
Bernd Eichinger, who will produce the film, said in a statement: "I really appreciate that Natascha Kampusch has put her faith in us to film her story." In the same statement Kampusch, who astonished viewers with her calm manner in television interviews after she was freed, said she trusted him to tell her story properly.

COLOGNE, Germany -- The international news media has turned the small Austrian town of Amstetten into a media village after 73-year-old resident Josef Fritzl was arrested on suspicion of keeping his daughter imprisoned in the cellar of his house for 24 years and of fathering seven children with her.
The 24-hour news giants CNN, BBC, MSNBC and Sky News were joined by hundreds of international broadcasters and journalists in reporting from the site of what one Austrian police investigator called "an unfathomable crime."
Around the world, broadcasters broke off regularly scheduled programming to carry footage from the pristine Alpine town where the loathsome crimes, to which Fritzl has reportedly confessed, took place.
Many reports focused on the extensive underground prison Fritzl had built in the basement of his nondescript family home. The daughter, 42, said the crimes began in 1984, when her father lured her into the cellar, drugged and handcuffed her.
The current media circus is reminiscent of two years ago, when Austrian teenager Natascha Kampusch escaped after being held for more than eight years in a tiny underground dungeon.
