Just when you thought it was safe to switch over to SyFy...Bizarrely the ridiculous 'Sharknado', starring Tara Reid, has become one of the most talked about SyFy projects in recent memory. So what do you do about it? Try to top it by upping the ludicrous stakes. The Griff Furst helmed 'Ghost Shark' is the newest and possibly most harebrained project we've heard about in th past couple of years. Furst helms from a script co-penned alongside Paul A. Birkett and the flick stars Mackenzie Rosman, Richard Moll, Tim Taylor and Lucky Johnson. You can check out the poster plus the new preposterous trailer for the project below....

For the first time in months, there is no Hunger Games casting news to report. Well, there was that item claiming that Tim Taylor snagged a part as a Gamemaker, but as Lionsgate has yet to confirm the news, we’re going to let that one be for the time being. So, for two weeks, The Hunger Games has gone without adding any new faces and, well, that’s the nature of filmmaking. Now that we’re beyond the casting stages, there’s other items pouring in, namely reports from the set. For the past few weeks production has been hot and heavy in Shelby, North Carolina. About a month ago, the crew began invading the town, throwing up roadblocks left and right and since, we’ve been fortunate enough to catch glimpses of Panem coming to life. Much of the...

The Hunger Games casting continues with the addition of Tim Taylor (Possum Walk, Archaic Redemption), who joins the already incredibly huge cast as the Gamekeeper in the story. The Gamekeeper is described as the computer techs that control the action during the games.
The movie is being directed by Gary Ross, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing some of the first footage of the film, which I hope happens at Comic-Con.
The Hunger Games takes place in the futuristic ruins of North America, which crumbled and was replaced by a Capitol and 12 districts. Each district is forced to supply 2 teenagers, between 12 and 18. They participate in The Hunger Games, a televised reality series that pits the contestants against one another in a battle to the death. The heroine is 16-year old Katniss Everdeen, a skilled hunter who’s adept with a bow and arrow. She replaces her younger sister,...

This cool looking Texas film is written and directed by Jeremy Sumrall and stars Maggie Conwell, Parrish Randall, Andrew Sensenig, Tim Taylor, Tyler Tackett, Keli Wolfe,Danielle Jones, Chris Warren, Jessica Jecker, Kristen Hall, Jennifer Peebles and Victoria Lane as "Abigail".
