While Bacurau will film next, Filho is finally in post-production on Aquarius, which concerns the 65-year-old Clara (Sonia Braga), a retired music writer and critic, widowed and alone in the apartment building Aquarius after her three grown children have moved away. Jason Katims really knows how to please the fans. Really. He just casted Friday Night Lights actor Matt Lauria on the upcoming season of Parenthood!
According to TVLine.com, Katims has recruited Lauria (Aka cutie Luke Cafferty to us Fnl fanatics) in a major recurring role. He will play a soldier who returns from Afghanistan and bonds with Zeek (Craig T. Nelson).
This is officially the sixth Friday Night Lights alum to show up in Berkeley. Minka Kelly, Michael B. Jordan, Derek Phillips, Angela Rawna, Jeff Rosick and now Lauria have all appeared on the show. Hell, the reason I started watching was because of Jordan's guest stint.
We say, keep em' coming!
What do you think about this casting? Let us know in the comments!

Norman Trailer. Jonathan Segal‘s Norman (2010) movie trailer stars Dan Byrd, Emily VanCamp, Richard Jenkins, Adam Goldberg, and Billy Lush. Norman‘s plot synopsis: “Norman Long is a high school loner, a self-aware and darkly funny teen who’s just trying to handle his daily existence. In the wake of his mother’s sudden death, Norman must now also deal with the reality that his father is starting to lose his battle with stomach cancer.
Norman, depressed and angry, unintentionally gets caught in a lie that he, in fact, has stomach cancer. Soon his complete distortion of the facts spirals out of control. Part coping mechanism, partially as a way to feel closer to his father, and to a certain degree to prepare others for his possible suicide, Norman begins to imitate his father’s debilitating physical symptoms, dramatically affecting his life and the world around him.

Confession: We here at Zap2it love, and we mean love, "Friday Night Lights" and the perfection that is Luke Cafferty (Matt Lauria). We've been No. 44's honorary rally girls ever since he cried and apologized to Tami Taylor (Connie Britton) on the football field (in the rain!) last season after lying about his address to stay a Dillon Panther (you know the scene). He sealed the deal this season when he traded his beloved pig, Mirabelle, for his girl, Becky (Madison Burge). "I traded my pig for you" is the new "I love you."
When we spoke to Lauria, we naturally had to ask about Mirabelle's future (while we know Tinker ["Cougar Town's" Lamarcus Tinker] loves her, we also know he loves bacon).
"I think that he will love her and care for her as long as her pig-ly life will allow," he says with a laugh. "You know what I think he'll do?...

The episode "Keep Looking" raised the question, can people really change? Let's go character by character this week.
Buddy. Buddy Jr.'s in town, and boy is he a handful. Jeff Rosick as the kid looks exactly like Brad Leland might've as a teen. They drive by the shuttered Garrity Motors. He's still sullen but shows his dad a glimmer of hope when he disses seitan (sounds like "satan," lol), the perfect vegetarian meat substitute. He asks if they give shock treatments at slummy East Dillon while checking out Tami's rack. Soon he's broken into Buddy's Bar & Grill and gotten trashed. As if that's not enough, Bj steals his dad's credit card and car, leading to a wild goose chase where Buddy actually runs him down and tackles him. Very impressive, Buddy! This is enough to merit him a trip to Eric's Disciplinary Academy, otherwise known as the football team.

Buddy Garrity's son will look and act very differently when season five of Friday Night Lights premieres.
The role will be filled by newcomer Jeff Rosick, whose version of the character will be a lot more troubled than the Buddy Jr. viewers last saw in Dillon.
He's been away for two years in California and has developed quite the attitude there. When the fifth season of this drama returns to DirecTV in the fall, we'll see Buddy Jr. back in Dillon - and very unhappy about that fact.
This is Rosick's first TV gig. He'll play a role in the upcoming movie about the rise of Facebook, The Social Network.
Friday Night Lights, meanwhile, premieres season four on NBC this Friday.

When Friday Night Lights brings the character of Buddy Jr. back for its fifth season (premiering on DirecTV this fall), he'll not only have a new face, he'll also have a new, though hardly improved, attitude. I'm told that rookie actor Jeff Rosick's version of Buddy's son will be, let's say, troubled. Apparently, the now-16-year-old enjoyed his two years in California — so much so that his growing pains only really begin when he's dragged home to Dillon. Translation: In spite of his sweet heart, the words "temper, temper" will likely be directed at him with some regularity. Rosick...
