We’ve been waiting for the longest time for it, but The Flash movie is definitely on its way. As teased by Justice League, which featured Barry Allen’s dad Henry in prison after being convicted of murdering his wife, the film seems set to explore the Flashpoint comic book arc, which starts with the Scarlet Speedster going back in time and stopping Reverse-Flash from killing his mother.
Eobard Thawne must be coming, then, as it’d be hard to adapt the story without him. The next few years could be big for Zatanna. Outside of a recurring guest role on Smallville, the sorceress has yet to make a major live-action appearance but she’s due to turn up soon in both the movies and a new TV show. J.J. Abrams is developing a Justice League Dark series for HBO Max, which will feature her amongst the team, while Warner Bros. is working on a solo movie for Miss Zatarra, which will be separate from the small screen version.
Sticking with the film side of things for a moment, what fans really want to know is, who’s going to play Zatanna in the Dceu? Well, prolific digital artist Boss Logic has named his pick via this magical new artwork and it’s Hobbs & Shaw star Eiza Gonzalez.

The second trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet arrived online recently, giving us a better look at John David Washington as the movie’s super-cool protagonist – called Protagonist – who’s able to manipulate time. Also in the film is soon-to-be-Batman Robert Pattinson. Given Nolan’s own connections to the DC universe though and the superhero-like nature of his role, it doesn’t seem like much of a jump to imagine Washington joining the Dceu at some point. Maybe as… Green Lantern?
Digital artist Boss Logic has created a piece, based off an image of the actor in Tenet, imagining Washington in character as one of the Emerald Knights, likely John Stewart. You have to admit that he looks great in the classic Lantern get-up, even just in fan art form.

After months of whispers and rumors, Sam Raimi finally confirmed this past week that he’ll be returning to the Marvel universe to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Of course, fans of the filmmaker behind the original Spider-Man trilogy can’t wait to see what Raimi does with the Sorcerer Supreme’s sequel, and there’s one thing we can safely bet he’ll put in the film: Bruce Campbell, his longtime collaborator who’s appeared in all of Raimi’s movies.
In fact, Campbell himself has already teased that he’ll be joining the McU in a recent tweet. “Huh. Surely there must be Some character to challenge the good Doctor,” the Evil Dead star wrote on Twitter. By the sounds of it, then, Campbell has his eye on a villainous role in Doctor Strange 2. Today (April 4th) marks the 55th birthday of the Hollywood legend that is Mr. Robert Downey Jr. The actor’s been a major name in the business for decades, earning himself an Oscar nomination back in 1992 for Chaplin, but as we all know, his portrayal of Tony Stark in the McU is what lifted him to a phenomenal level of fame and acclaim.
He officially vacated the role of Iron Man, at least on a regular basis, in last year’s Avengers: Endgame, but all the birthday messages that Marvel fans have been sharing on social media today make clear that his contribution to the franchise will never be forgotten.

Yesterday it was revealed that Andy Serkis is in talks to play Alfred Pennyworth in The Batman. His casting isn’t 100% official yet, but his previous collaboration with director Matt Reeves on the Planet of the Apes movies suggests that negotiations will go well. The Caesar star is a bit of a left-field choice to play Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, though, so what could Serkis look like as the character?
Well, here’s how Boss Logic has imagined it could go. The following artwork puts Serkis in Alfred’s pristine uniform, but gives it a blood-stained twist, as if he’s been splattered while witnessing one of Master Bruce’s fights.
“The cool thing about @andyserkis is that he would do anything to look the part,” Bl wrote in his caption for the post.

The Batman may have found its Penguin. Reports emerged yesterday that revealed Colin Farrell is currently in talks to join the ever-growing all-star cast of Matt Reeves’ reboot of the Caped Crusader’s universe. It seems negotiations are still ongoing, but it looks like the Fantastic Beasts and Dumbo star could be our new Oswald Cobblepot. But how could Farrell look in the part? Thankfully, digital artist Boss Logic is on the case.
His latest piece dresses the Irish actor in the Penguin’s signature top hat and monocle. Despite the gentlemanly attire, the pic gives off the feel of Farrell maybe being a tougher version of the villain than is traditional, perhaps leaning more into depicting him as a cutthroat crime boss.

As announced at D23 back in August, She-Hulk is finally coming to the McU in the next few years as Marvel Studios is currently developing a solo TV series for the heroine which will land on Disney Plus. Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters has been a favorite to join the franchise for the past decade, so naturally fans have a lot of thoughts about who should play her.
One common suggestion is star Rosario Dawson, who’s already popular with the fandom from her role as Claire Temple in the Marvel-Netflix shows. But what would Dawson actually look like as She-Hulk?
Well, fan artist Boss Logic has got us sorted in that corner as he’s whipped up this cool piece which casts the actress as Jen. “Since #SheHulk is Live action,” he wrote in his caption.”I’m throwing @rosariodawson out there again.”

A report has since surfaced regarding the kind of pay that Hill is pushing for. According to entertainment reporter Justin Kroll, Hill wants $10 million to be in the movie, which means his character will have a big role in the story.
It’s also pointed out that Robert Pattinson isn’t even making half that to star as Batman, which is actually pretty crazy. If any character were to be used as a fine example of how Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil movies unevenly adapted the video games on which they were based, it’s most definitely my favorite from the entire franchise: Albert Wesker.
When the villain was first adapted to screen, it was Jason O’Mara who was granted the privilege of playing him in Extinction – even if it was somewhat of a minor role. Then, in Afterlife, the much younger Shawn Roberts took over and proved to be a spot-on live action translation. Pretty much everything about his portrayal delighted me, and I thought the film series was getting back on track.
Not long after that, however, Retribution dropped and the character was rather mishandled, though Roberts wasn’t at fault. What made things worse was when Anderson took an even bigger steaming dump on Wesker in The Final Chapter,...

When it comes to the currently gestating Resident Evil cinematic reboot, I have three things to request from Sony Pictures: actually make it a horror movie, base it on one of the classic video games, and keep Paul W.S. Anderson the hell away from it. Considering how incoming director Johannes Roberts says the flick will be “super, super scary,” two of those boxes have seemingly been checked off.
In certain respects, one could argue that Resident Evil: Apocalypse was an adaptation of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but I’d say “bastardization” was a more apt description. Still, it’s the closest thing we’ve gotten to a full-on game-to-screen translation.
If I were to have my way though, one of the first two games would serve as the basis for the upcoming silver screen reboot. Perhaps acclaimed digital artist Boss Logic had the same thing on their mind, too,...

After establishing himself as Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Idris Elba joined the ever-growing club of actors who’ve batted for both teams by making the leap to the DC Extended Universe. Soon enough, we’ll see him lighting up the screen in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

Then, it was revealed he’s playing a different character altogether, with some reports even saying he may be Deathstroke. My gut tells me he’s actually Bronze Tiger, but let’s wait for confirmation on that one.

Heroes that, you never know, may just make their way into the franchise in the next few years.
Boss Logic took to Twitter to share his two parody posters, one for Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and the other for Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). These follow from on his past efforts to imagine what both the Merc with a Mouth and Logan could look like if they were part of the movie, complete with white Quantum Realm suits like the rest of the Avengers.

In the absence of any substantial information about the plot of the movie, there are many predictions that Marvel fans have about Avengers: Endgame that are so widely believed at this point, that they’re more or less expected to come true next month. And one of the biggest is that Captain America will meet his maker during Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ second battle with Thanos.
Of course, we’re still unsure as to how exactly it’ll happen, but it’s thought that Steve may end up sacrificing himself to save the day. After all, he’s just that sort of a guy, right?
But how could the heartbreaking moment itself play out? Well, fan artist Boss Logic has now given us an idea of just that, putting together a rendition of a gut-wrenching scene in which Cap’s left to die in a snowy landscape, with a hefty...

With Hugh Jackman looking pretty committed to leaving his run as Wolverine in the past, the fans have been doing a lot of speculating lately on who might be next to wield the claws, and have so far come up with some pretty weird suggestions.
In the last week, for instance, the idea of Daniel Radcliffe being next in line for the title has been making the rounds online, so much so that the Harry Potter actor himself felt the need to shoot down the rumor a couple of days ago. As it turns out, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld doesn’t think much of the casting suggestion either, and has taken to Twitter with a bewildered response:
“Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine?? Zack Efron???? Y’all lost your marbles?? Jackman was an unknown!!”

As you know, Warner Bros. and director Matt Reeves have yet to announce who will be the next Batman. It’s said that they are looking for a younger actor to take on the role, someone with a familiar face. Personally, I think that there’s a chance that an actor has already been cast in the role but the studio is not ready to announce it.
Fan artist Boss Logic claims that he has heard from an inside source that Robbert Pattinson is being looked at for the role of Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman. There’s no confirmation of this, but it’s something to think about and discuss.
Here’s the Tweet that was shared:

Recently, The Punisher star Ben Barnes announced that he’d love to play Batman at some point. Having impressed superhero fans as Frank Castle’s nemesis Billy “Jigsaw” Russo on the Marvel/Netflix show, the British actor’s name has now been added to the ever-growing list of people that could potentially be the next version of the Dark Knight on the big screen.
To give us a flavor of what Barnes might be like as Batman, prolific fan artist Boss Logic has created a new piece that casts him as Bruce Wayne. Showing the character’s split identity, one half of the artwork depicts the Batsuit while the other shows Barnes as a pretty grouchy-looking take on the playboy billionaire.

There were so many amazing easter eggs that came out of “Elseworlds,” but one that’s really delighted fans is a brief line that seems to make a long-held theory canon.
If you’ve been an Arrow fan for a while, you might have heard the theories that John Diggle is a version of John Stewart, a member of the Green Lantern Corps in the comics. Well, in “Elseworlds,” John Wesley Shipp’s Flash from Earth-90 crossed over to Earth-1 to issue a dire warning to the Arrowverse heroes. However, he became distracted when he noticed Diggle. “John?” he questioned, suggesting the pair are old friends. “Where’s your ring?”
The implication here is obvious: Diggle’s doppelganger on Earth-90 is a Green Lantern – the ring that Flash-90 was referring to naturally being the green power ring. No doubt actor David Ramsay loved this, too, as he pretty much suggested...

Following 10 years of Marvel blockbusters and instantly quotable one-liners (“we have a Hulk”), Robert Downey Jr. has truly cemented his place as the beating heart of the McU.
For many, he is Tony Stark, and it’s often difficult to distinguish where Iron Man ends and Robert Downey Jr. begins. It’s a credit to Marvel’s casting department, then, that film fans soon fell in love with Rdj’s portrayal of Stark, a character who has since graduated to become the franchise’s brooding father figure (see: Spider-Man: Homecoming), as opposed to its reckless wildcard.
But what if things panned out differently? What if Robert Downey Jr. was elected to become the poster child for Hollywood’s other major comic book franchise – Worlds of DC? That alternate reality is projected onto the following canvas, thanks to some deft work by the inimitable Boss Logic.
Yes, it’s Robert Downey Jr.

We’ve heard a lot of contradicting reports about Henry Cavill’s future in the Dceu, but assuming the actor is well and truly done playing Superman, artist Boss Logic has a suggestion for another familiar do-gooder that the Man of Steel star could give a try.
In recent months, there’s been a notable section of the Marvel fanbase that’s been pushing to get Cavill in the role of Captain Britain. This new artwork, however, has a different patriotic identity in mind, dressing him in the red, white, and blue of the Captain America getup. And while it’s unlikely that this idea will ever go beyond the realm of fan fantasy, it’s clear that most folks would be a lot more open to the idea of seeing the latest Clark Kent pick up the shield than, say, John Cena.

Yesterday, John Cena prompted confusion and speculation when he posted an uncaptioned image to Instagram of the Captain America shield with a few scratches on it. Some fans interpreted this cryptic upload as the wrestler/actor expressing his interest in taking up the heroic mantle after Chris Evans bails from the series, and now artist Boss Logic has offered their amusing take on what this could look like.
As you can see below, the tongue-in-cheek image combines elements from the First Avenger’s costume with Cena’s own trademark getup to create a new kind of Cap. From what we could tell, the costume he was wearing looked surprisingly faithful to the villain’s usual look, except for one thing. His iconic fishbowl helmet was missing.
Fans would be crushed if the admittedly silly-looking helmet didn’t appear in the movie, so the costume designers must have surely found a way for it to work in the more grounded world of the McU. Could the full look for Mysterio, for instance, appear something like what we have below?

At some point in my lifetime, I’d really like to see a Batman Beyond movie come to fruition. Originally having aired as an animated series from 1999-2001, it focused on a young man named Terry McGinnis who took up the mantle of the Dark Knight fifty years into the future, as he was mentored by none other than Bruce Wayne. Actually, the concept almost materialized as a live action flick in the time separating Batman & Robin from Batman Begins, but the project ultimately fell through.
Fortunately, the show’s legacy has lived on well past its finale, for it’s continued in a number of comic book series, among other things. All we can do is hope that a still rabid fanbase one day gives cause for Warner Bros. to green light a major motion picture, though it’s advised that you not hold your breath.
