Former Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher and his wife Nicole Appleton are divorced. It took a London court just 68 seconds to issue a "decree nisi" for Gallagher, 41, and Appleton, 39, The Guardian reported. In her petition for divorce, Appleton accused her husband, now frontman of the band Beady Eye, of adultery in July 2013, an accusation that he did not contest, the paper said. A judge determined that the All Saints singer had "sufficiently proved" her allegations, noting that Appleton "is entitled to a decree of divorce, the marriage having irretrievably broken down, the facts found proved being the respondent's adultery." Appleton...

Washington, Mar 4: Liam Gallagher is so furious by label bosses' plans to release a 20th anniversary reissue of Oasis' debut album 'Definitely Maybe', that he has urged fans not to buy it.
The Beady Eye frontman, who disbanded his old band in 2009 following the departure of his estranged brother Noel, has taken to Twitter to slam the album revamp, which was announced last week, Contactmusic reported.
"How Can You Remaster Something That's Already (been) Mastered. Dont (sic) Buy Into It. Let It Be," he tweeted.
'Definitely Maybe: Chasing the Sun Edition' is set for release on 19 May and will include rehearsal.

Is it possible for famously feuding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher to not look back in anger? Pharrell Williams sure hopes so. While chatting with BBC News' Radio 1, the 40-year-old record producer revealed that he would love to collaborate with the brothers and, in the process, reunite their band Oasis. "Who wouldn't want to work with the Gallaghers? Yeah, both of them," Williams said. The siblings had a huge falling out back in 2009 when Noel left the group after years of turbulence between the two. Noel went on do some solo stuff, while Liam continued to work with the remaining Oasis band members under the name Beady Eye. Time will tell, of course, if the Grammy...

Washington, January 4: Paul Arthurs has revealed that Liam Gallagher is keen on putting aside his feud with brother and bandmate Noel for the good of the group.

Wire star says Beady Eye singer should be accompanied by a hairdresser, such is his obsession with his locks
Usually, it's Liam Gallagher who calls people idiots – Robbie Williams is a "fat fucking idiot"; his brother Noel is a "fucking idiot" with "daft mates" – but now he's been given that accolade himself by Idris Elba, in an interview with the Us edition of GQ.
The actor-cum-rapper/singer/producer called Gallagher an idiot when asked if, when he played Oasis's Wonderwall at a DJ set, he was making a deliberate reference to the pair's spat at this year's NME awards. "No!" he replied. "Fuck that idiot."
Elba said the pair's squabble, which began when Gallagher mocked Elba's hat, escalated when Elba ruffled Gallagher's hair in return. "Didn't like that. Don't touch his hair, apparently. Fuck off. Next time walk with a fucking hairdresser, then."

Nicole Appleton and Sinitta have been photographed arriving at Heathrow Airport together, following the news that Appleton will join Louis Walsh for Judges' Houses on The X Factor.
The 38-year-old former All Saints singer and Sinitta were pictured with their arms around each other as they prepared to jet off and join Walsh in the South of France's swish St Tropez region.
It's currently being reported that Sinitta, who has previously joined former boyfriend Simon Cowell at Judges' Houses, has also been helping Walsh whittle down his category.
The Daily Star has claimed that the 49-year-old 'So Macho' singer even revealed herself to Walsh, Appleton and the X Factor hopefuls wearing a fake baby bump to announce "who's the daddy?", presumably in reference to the recent news that Cowell is expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman.

Liam Gallagher's currently suing the New York Post for libel after the tabloid reported that he had fathered a "love child" with a reporter, which makes Beady Eye's new video a bit curious.
In the visuals for "Shine a Light," Gallagher is shown lying on a bed of ... naked ladies. There's also a medieval dinner. Take a look!
Correction: We mistyped our Gallaghers and accidentally referred to Liam as Noel. All clear now.

London, July 8(Ani): Liam Gallagher is not letting his fight with Robbie Williams come to an end gracefully.
The pair have been engaged in a fight in recent weeks after the former 'Oasis' front man called Robbie a f***ing fat f***ing idiot, the Sun reported.
Williams responded by criticizing Gallagher's band Beady Eye's music.
To which, Gallagher said that they did not make a record to satisfy some requirements but because it was their project.
Williams said the record is good but the songs have no chorus.
Gallagher further wrote that he would rather shoot himself in the balls than follow Gallagher.

It’s hard to explain the emotions and atmosphere that a good band at a festival like this can generate, one thing if for sure that no amount of BBC coverage could sum it up. With over 53 stages that covers rock, pop, dance to circus acts, comedians and poetry readings it’s impossible to write about all of them but here are some highlights from the main stages

These past few months, I've grown weary trying to find albums that engage me from start to finish. In fact, I've yet to find one album in the past few months I can listen to top to bottom. I truly believe that we are back in the land of "singles." Not saying that a Blood on the Tracks, Dark Side of the Moon, Ok Computer, or (What's The Story) Morning Glory? isn't lurking in the shadows, but.... I'm old enough to have bought 45s back in the '60s when I was a young pup; my first was The Beatles' "Rain"/"Paperback Writer." In the land of digital, I'm happy to download one song from some new noteworthy act and let it fall into my enormous random shuffle playlist (over 8,700 songs and counting). And that "single" is not always the band or label's choice; in the age of iTunes, we...

Will the stars align for an Oasis reunion? Stranger things have happened.
True, Liam and Noel Gallagher had a famously turbulent professional relationship throughout their 18 years at the helm of one of Britain's most successful bands.
Noel and Liam Gallagher - is musical blood thicker than water?
And true, after their final showdown in 2009, backstage at a gig in Paris which then had to be cancelled, Noel confirmed that he had left the band, explaining: "I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."
And both have gone on to have some success with their respective musical projects, Liam continuing with the other members of Oasis under the Beady Eye moniker and Noel with his solo project, High Flying Birds.
But... it's generally acknowledged that the magical chemistry which saw them sell 70 million records has not been replaced, and now even Liam is hinting there may be a thaw in the air.

The Rolling Stones provided the best-ever headline set in Glastonbury's history, organisers said today.
Michael Eavis, who holds the musical extravaganza on his farm in rural Somerset, said the two-hour performance - complete with fireworks and a burning phoenix on top of the stage - was worth the wait.

He had tried to secure the band, celebrating their 50th anniversary, for years and said he was not sure how next year's headliners, who have already been booked, would live up to the Stones.
"It was 43 years in the making, 50 years for them, and we've finally come together. We're on the same page at last," Eavis said, on the third day of music at the festival.
He claimed it was his highlight of his time running the festival, which was first held in 1970.

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is probably checking the weather report right now.
Richards has expressed his concerns that rain will interrupt the band's first-ever performance at the U.K.'s famed Glastonbury Festival, which takes place this weekend at Worthy Farm. He's probably right: weather reports predict a strong chance of rain during their set.
"[The] only pressure we feel is that it is the first time we've done an outdoor show for yonks and English weather," Richards said. "Throwing in those two equations, yeah, there is maybe a little apprehension."
As for why -- or, perhaps, how -- one of the world's biggest bands has avoided one of the world's biggest music festivals for 50 years, Richards shrugged. "It just never occurred," he said. "Many times it has been on the list of tours and stuff and for one reason or another it never coincided. [It's] like a black hole in space or something,...

"They're performing with Kanye! They're performing at Coachella!" Daft Punk show rumors are dime a dozen these days, but when it comes to Glastonbury, there's some serious cash backing the latest conspiracy theory.
The French disco-house robots are the bookies' favorites for a surprise set at the famed British music festival. NME reports that they're set at 6/4 odds, with Beady Eye (5/1), David Bowie (6/1) and Queens of the Stone Age (10/1) in close pursuit.
Daft Punk's team has repeatedly denied tour rumors by saying that no shows have been planned yet, though it does seem unlikely that the duo would not hit the road in support of "Random Access Memories," their Billboard No. 1 seller from earlier this year. (Bowie, for what its worth, is also reportedly not touring.)

Rumours abound that David Bowie is among the stars due to make a surprise appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
As the first festival-goers pick up their wellies and start making their way down to Somerset after a year without the world's biggest Festival, bookies are offering plenty of odds as to what musicians will be turning up.
Are Bowie fans' dreams to come true?
The Rolling Stones are Sunday's headline act, and the veteran rockers have form when it comes to inviting unannounced guests to share the stage.
Bookies William Hill are offering different odds on star performers, with the most likely being Jeff Beck, currently on tour in the UK, at odds of 4/7. The Boss Bruce Springsteen is similarly well placed to appear, with odds of 11/10. Bowie is an outside hope of sharing the stage with Sir Mick, possibly to reprise their 1985 hit 'Dancing in the Street'.

London, June 16 (Reuters) - The British rock band Black Sabbath's album "13!" has given them a first British Number One album in nearly 43 years, a record interval between chart-toppers, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.
Black Sabbath were last at the top of the UK chart with their second album, "Paranoid".

Liam Gallagher, opinionated as always, had some choice words for Kanye West in a recent interview with British GQ. When asked what he thought about West titling his new album Yeezus (out next week), Gallagher (ostensibly there to promote Beady Eye's new album Be… although I think we all know why you really sit Liam Gallagher down for an interview these days, right?) responded with yet another sound bite for the ages.
Follow MusicOlogy for all the latest Liam Gallagher (and Kanye West) news, reviews, leaks, rumors, videos, tour dates, features, fan events and more
Says Gallagher:
"I couldn't give a fuck what that fuckin' clown gets up to. Have you seen when he bumped his head? He's coming out of the gym with that bird and there are geezers taking pictures. You have to put your head up and carry on walking. He's gone [mimes putting his head down] and walked straight into a fuckking pole.

The Voice UK mentor will.i.am has said that he will only return for another series if the current panel remains the same.
The producer explained to the Daily Star that he will definitely come back for a third run if Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue are all on board.
"As long as the four of us do it, then I'll sign again. I think it's important it's the four of us, there's a good chemistry," he said.
"We talked the last time before we agreed to it and we will this time.
"It would be hard to do it without the others. I can't think about doing it with someone else. It would be weird.

London, June 8: Singer Liam Gallagher of band Beady Eye is not fond of Harry Style's music, but he says it's good to see him having a good time.
Harry Styles is a member of band One Direction, known for churning out pop numbers.

Chances are slim of Oasis ever appearing on ITV2's 'The Big Reunion', but rocker Liam Gallagher has confessed he would reform iconic nineties band Oasis for free.
The 40-year-old Beady Eye singer revealed: “I would reform Oasis. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not desperate to. But if it was right, I’d do it. I’d do it for nothing, I’d do it for the music,” in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with The Sun's Mf magazine.
Liam also admitted the band shouldn’t have split in the first place: "We should have weathered the storm...we'd had bigger arguments about bigger things and carried on, but I think Noel had done his time."
However, never one to miss an opportunity to make a dig at his brother, Liam didn't speak positively about Noel's post-Oasis music with new band High Flying Birds.

Liam Gallagher claims his brother Noel is a fan of Beady Eye. The rock 'n' roll siblings have barely spoken since August 2009 after a backstage bust-up in Paris led to Noel quitting their former band Oasis, but Liam is confident Noel will like what he hears on Beady Eye's new LP 'Be'. The 40-year-old singer told Bang Showbiz: ''I don't care about Noel. I'm not arsed. I'm not interested in him. I know our kid likes our band, he was in it for 20 f***ing years. I know he's gonna get part of it and I know he's gonna go,...
