Beauvais plays Susan Bishop, Maddie’s (Fola Evans-Akingbola) mom and Dale’s (Gil Birmingham) wife, who abandoned her family for the past 10 months. She is back in Bristol Cove and ready to make amends with her family.

Simone Swink, Margo Baumgart and Chris Brouwer have been named senior broadcast producers for ABC News’ “Good Morning America,” Senior Executive Producer Michael Corn revealed in a staff memo obtained by TheWrap. Meanwhile, Rachel Miskowiec is leaving the top morning show and heading back to daytime television. Swink, who Corn called “an idea dynamo,” was previously head writer and senior producer. She started on the show in 2010 as a morning writer. Baumgart, who previously helmed the second hour, will be in charge of futures and special programming. Corn referred to Brouwer as a “true news warrior and storyteller.” She came over from “World.

“Good Morning America” is promoting Chris Vlasto to executive produce the show's 7 a.m. hour, while “Katie” executive producer Rachel Miskowiec is joining the show to executive produce at 8 a.m. Senior executive producer Tom Cibrowski announced the additions in a note to staff Wednesday. Also read: Diane Sawyer Leaving ABC's ‘World News,’ George Stephanopoulos Named Chief Anchor of ABC News Miskowiec (pictured, alongside Vlasto) joins Margo Baumgart, who now executive produces the show's 8 a.m. hour. The ann0uncements follow other recent changes at ABC News: “Gma” host George Stephanopoulos has been named ABC's chief anchor, and David Muir is replacing Diane Sawyer.

The Young and the Restless tallied 23 nominations as honors were announced this morning for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Restless’ impressive take helped CBS lead all networks with 50 overall nominations. PBS and ABC followed, with 44 and 38 nods, respectively.
General Hospital, which earned 19 nominations, joined Restless in the race for Outstanding Drama Series, and Sesame Street received 17 nods, including three for Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo who faces allegations of sexual misconduct.
Good Morning America and Today will bring their ratings rivalry to the Emmys, where they’ll be joined by CBS Sunday Morning in the Outstanding Morning Program category.
