"A Better Tomorrow 2" is the best of the three Ying Huan Boon Sik-films of the action-god John Woo (Face/Off). Woo mixed up family traditions, asian culture and gore and the result was a movie that bursts all borders.
In one moment romantic and sensitive, in den next blood splashes against walls. The final shootout is the goriest I've ever seen in my life. It endures nearly 15 minutes and rounds up a movie full of suspense, good characterizations and deep emotions.
A must-see not only for John Woo-freaks.
