I waited in anticipation for this movie to come out, and never once thinking it would be nominated for a Academy Award, and I still don't.
But just to watch Claire Danes, a brilliant and exceptionally talented actress, was enough for me. Ya, we all know that the storyline was used before. SO WHAT??? Get over it, movies are remade all the time, with the same storylines. So, I think people should look past this aspect. I was never bored, and yes, I enjoyed the soundtrack! I could ramble on and on about the plot, but I just want to comment on how I DO think this is a truly great film, and if you don't want to see it-DON'T. You already know the storyline, but you could not even imagine Claire-her best performance to date-even though I always thought it would be impossible to get any better than her one before.
