Review of Sach

Sach (1989)
8/10
A simple straightforward movie raising real issues
1 July 2002
It is a movie which has no starcast (in fact all were pretty average actors), no songs, no stunts, no melodrama, no usual sentimentalism, nothing that would take it away from the real world. It was a movie where two people (average middle class) find warmth in each other's arms which they could not get in their spouses'. And then they are faced with a dilemma where they have to choose between adhering to their values and concealing their relationship.

It came as a pleasant surprise as I just got this movie from the video store not knowing anything about it. A good watch for people who prefer some meaningful cinema over masala.
