After all the hype this movie got, I was hesitant to even see it because I figured it just couldn't be as good as everyone was saying it was. I think this was a nice story about a girl, her eccentric family and accepting her culture and where she comes from. And of course the classic love story. Was this film worthy of all the attention and praise it received? I don't think so. But it was enjoyable and had funny moments. Why on earth they would want to spin it off into a TV series, I have no idea. But you never know, it could be as likeable as the film. At least it has the original actors participating in it.
