This is a sentimental movie. Cheesy sentimental movie. Bad, boring, predictable sentimental movie. This sentimentalism is updated with gay and cross-dressing problems and so on, but it's the same, old, abused, telenovela-like sentimentalism nevertheless. The story moves slow, sometimes hangs, with the same big eyes of Margherita Buy always staring wide open, while you can tell what's going to happen in the next scene. My suggestion: trash this overrated mawkishness.
