Review of Monster's Ball

I thoroughly loved this movie. I felt so sad for the characters, and so hopeful for some of them. I thought the two main characters had a lot of chemistry together, and were actually a very believable pair. I liked the dialog (or lack thereof) in most of the movie. I liked it that no one gave big Hollywood speeches about what they had learned and how they felt - we were left to figure out how they probably felt.

I am now completely convinced that Billy Bob Thornton, as psycho and neurotic and obsessive as he may be in real life, is one hell of an actor.

I will see this again, definitely.
