This movie looked so promising from the theatrical trailer but after seeing it I must say the trailer was better than the movie altogether! What could have been a movie about women escaping the rules of society put upon them, it turned out to be well about absolutely nothing. Julia Roberts plays Katherine Watson, a woman who's suppose to be an inspiration to the other Wellesey girls but instead ends up sulking the entire time without gaining any kind of wisdom from her year at Wellesey College. Then you've got Kirsten Dunst who plays Betty Warren, a girl brought up believing that women should uphold the traditions that have been placed upon them for years and years. She spends the entire movie treating the others like garbage but off course you know how her character is going to end up in the end. Julia Stiles plays Joan Brandwyn, who probably ended up being one of the only characters besides Ginnifer Goodwin who played Connie Baker that ended up being happy and not so annoying. Maggie Gyllenhaal plays Giselle Levy who's pretty much a lost soul and still pretty much remains that way in the end.

I can't even go on about this movie it's just bad bad bad!
