Elle (Witherspoon) is back as the always irrepressible and upbeat Bel Air fashion plate Elle Woods in the fun and frivolous "Legally Blonde 2". This time out, Elle is off to Capital Hill to lobby Congress as an animal rights activist and, as always, succeeds in her quest thanks to one long string of very fortuitous blonde moments. A worthy sequel and a fun romp for anyone who wouldn't be caught dead in public with split ends or a rogue cuticle. (B)
