Review of Privilege

Privilege (1967)
10/10
Best movie of the 60's
26 January 2005
In 1967 I was living day to day in the Lower East Side. One afternoon I was bored, downed a gram of hash, and went to see Privilege at the St. Marks Theatre. As I was going in, I was surprised to see Tomothy Leary going in as well. The movie was 1984 and Brave New World rolled into one. Standing up against the corporate powers. This movie said it all. Along with Brother Sun, Sister Moon, and The Last Movie, it was one of the most real movies in the 60's, and my favorite of all time. In recent years, whenever I am in a store with used videos, I look for it. After reading these posts, I realize that it probably hasn't been transferred to video, and I can stop looking.
