I saw a scary "doll" movie at about that time (I was 3 years old). It scared the he-- out of me! I called it "Carol in the fire" and had nightmares for weeks. I recall very little of the movie but am thinking somebody in it was named Carol. I remember at the end the doll's eyes were glowing as it burned up. I don't remember enough of it to give it any kind of rating (not to mention my age at the time). Is this the same movie and has anybody found a copy of it??? I've investigated as many other scary doll movies as I can find out there and am still looking...Like many horror movies I'm guessing I'd get a good laugh out of it as an adult but who knows.
