However, as the basic premise - Aussie journalist sticks his nose too far into a mystery surrounding the consignment of some nuclear waste on its way to Oz - is rendered with as much paranoiac hysteria as the vague recollection that you may have left your change on the counter at the local corner shop; truncation is clearly a blessing.
