A cuban classic!
10 November 2005
This Orlando Rojas movie, borough us a cuban society in the 60's mixed with influence of foreign music and ideas with the new cuban "moment" ending this nice related drama of moments and situations live by lot of our parents and friends everywhere around the world. we also have the excellent musical score by Pablo Milanes - a magistral Elena Burke performing "amame como soy"; some good amateur performances of such actors as: María Isabel Díaz, Jorge Luis Alvarez, Francisco Gattorno, Thais Valdés, Rolando Tarajano. A no less talented script of Senel Paz and the own director Orlando Rojas. The movie is a masterpiece for everyone who had the chance of living in those conditions in that - or similar- moment and space. Whoever want to know a little more of the "socialist" society the values, the people, the way their mind works... just give it a chance to Una novia para David u wont regret it.
